We’re back baby! Here to remind ABC and each other that we are a fandom filled with love, kindness, and cheer! Before we begin, a quick note: Last year we raised over $3,000 for various LGBT centered charities around the globe besides Trevor Project and I loved learning about all the work being done in other countries to help their LGBT youth. In that spirit, while the Trevor Project fundraiser will be our main focus going forward, I will still reblog AllIWantForChristmasIsLou posts from international participants who choose to donate to local charities.

The only requirement to participate in this event is that you tell us with the tag All I Want For Christmas Is Lou what Buck, Tommy, BuckTommy, or the fandom means to you in a post. If you choose to donate, you can tell us how much at the end of the post. Either way we look forward to seeing your testimonials!

This year we’ve set up an official fundraiser page with The Trevor Project here (unfortunately it does not embed well on tumblr) our goal is humble compared to last year: $2,170 USD

Fanworks

Part of our call to action is encouraging others in the fandom to donate. Fanworks such as gifsets, edits, or fanart are a great way to do this and while we are not at all requiring people to make fanworks as part the event, (with the exception of the lovely @buffaluff who was forced, forced I tell you! to remake the banner in their iconic style for this years event) we would love to see the love for our boys spread in anyway possible! What is Spark of Love?

Spark of Love is a charity event sponsored by the LAFD and ABC that aimsto provide toys to kids and teens in LA and the surrounding counites. This year marks their 33rd year of the Toy Drive! (More information on Spark of Love can be found linked below!) (See above link!)
