can you make something abt the reader seeing ao’nungs new tattoo for the first time
tolu ~ tattoo
────────── 𓆉 ───────────
You sat on the docks, smiling while kicking your feet in the water. Aonung had been busy all day preparing for his first tolu. He had been incredibly excited for his coming of age ceremony, but particularly for the tattoo.
𓆉 ⋆.˚ 𓆝⋆.˚
Walking along the beach beside Aonung one night, he was going on and on about his coming of age.
“And then– I will get an amazing tattoo on my face! It’ll look so cool, everyone will see.” He excitedly went on.
You smiled, holding his hand as you looked up at his ace. The pure joy on his face was worth gold– and you would've listened to him talk for years if it meant he would continue looking that way when he spoke of things he was passionate about.
𓆉 ⋆.˚ 𓆝⋆.˚
You were overjoyed to be by his side throughout it all, as you two had started dating at a young age.
You had gone through a little rough path when the Sully kids came seeking Uturu however, as you didn’t like how Aonung would speak to them. You told him he was being unnecessarily cruel to them, and you didn't like seeing that side in him.
At one point, it had gotten so bad that you had sworn off seeing him for a while. After he had repeatedly ignored you asking him to be kinder, you told him you wouldn’t speak to him until you saw a change.
That made him change real quick, and you two were back to being lovey-dovey in no time.
𓆉 ⋆.˚ 𓆝⋆.˚
Now that you had been with him through so many phases, it made you quite emotional to now see him becoming the one thing he’d always dreamt of and talked about. Coming of age and eventually becoming just like his father.
So there you sat– engrossed in memories as you waited for Aonung to come to you, and show you his new tolu.
That was when you heard his laugh, just barely in the distance. He seemed to be waking away from his friends, and towards you. And you kept your eyes trained on the water as he came up behind you.
“Close your eyes.” You heard him speak, practically hearing the huge grin on his face.
You did so and couldn’t help the smile brought to your face as he moved to sit near you, and held your hands in his.
“Okay, open.” He spoke, and at once your eyes flew open.
You stare, mouth wide as you admire the gorgeous lines painting his face. You take your hands out of his, and carefully hold his head, bringing him closer to you. You run your thumb along the tolu gently, knowing it likely still hurts.
“Oh Aonung,” You release your hold, smiling up at him. “It looks lovely.”
He grinned down at you, reaching for your hands once more.
“It wouldn’t have been possible without you.”
You looked confused, “How?”
“You keep me balanced. Without you I'd be crazy, and I love that you keep me in check.” He places a kiss on your forehead.
You laugh softly, leaning in to rest your forehead against yours.
“Oel ngati kameie, Aonung.” You whisper.
“Oel ngati kameie.”

You and Lo’ak had been dating for a few years now, and despite being young you knew he was going to be your mate when you two came of age.
So when one day he came to you, rushed and panicked, and told you that he and his family were leaving, you’d never been more horrified. You had never seen him so upset, and as you held him close to you he asked– or really he begged– for you to come with him. You were scared at first, knowing you’d have to leave your family and your life behind. But after seeing how distraught he was, and knowing you’d never be able to live the same without him, you knew you had to go.
Convincing your parents was the second hardest part, as they couldn’t stand the thought of you being gone and completely off the grid. You had fought many hours that night, trying to convince them to let you go.
“Mom, you don’t get it, he is going to be my mate!” You yelled frustratedly. This conversation had been going on for three hours now.
“You do not know that, what if you two don’t last? And what, you’ll be stuck with him and that family?” She retorts, looking to your dad for backup, who had stayed conveniently silent throughout the whole conversation.
“Oh and what about you and dad huh? You two practically did the same thing and you guys lasted!”
“Your dad and I are different–”
“Mom, Dad I am just asking for a chance. Please. If things don’t work out, I have my Ikran and I can fly back home anytime.” You speak, trying one last time to convince your stubborn parents.
Watching as your mom looked over to your dad, he nodded before speaking.
“She does have a point.”
A smile grows on your face as your mom brings a hand to her face, rubbing her forehead.
“Fine. You may go. But you stay out of trouble, if there is any sign of danger you get on your Ikran and you leave, got it?” Your mom finally agrees.
“Yes!” You shout happily, immediately moving to hug your mom before hugging your dad. “I’m going to pack now, thank you!”
𓂃𓂁𓂃
With the immense joy you felt from being allowed to go, you didn’t think about just how hard it would be. When you had finished packing, and went up to your parents to say goodbye, it almost felt like your heart was being torn in two. Of course you wanted to go with Lo’ak, more than anything you’d ever wanted before. But standing here, looking at your parents teary eyed in front of you, almost had you staying.
Ultimately, you decided to go with Lo’ak, as you knew you’d be happier with him than without. Giving your parents a huge hug, you said your goodbyes, and headed to the Sully family home.
When you neared the house, you heard a shouting coming from inside, it sounded like Lo’ak’s mother, Neytiri.
“Mom, you can’t ask me to do this! To leave my home– to- to leave her!” You heard Lo’ak shout. He must've only just asked his parents.
You stood outside, trying your hardest to focus on the way the trees sounded when the wind blew through them instead of the shouting coming from just a few feet away.
After a little, the shouting had stopped and Neytiri just gave up, but not without saying.
“She is yours to look over, anything happens and it is on you Lo’ak.”
In that next second, Lo’ak came storming out of his home, only to bump into you.
“Shit. How much of that did you hear?” He asks.
“All of it.” You shrug, looking up. “My parents said yes.”
He smiles, embracing you.
“I’m so glad. Come, we are about to leave.” He speaks, grabbing your hand to lead you to where he and his family were waiting for their Ikrans.
You wait for your Ikran as well, not forgetting to thank the Sully’s for letting you come with them.
𓂃𓂁𓂃
You stare in awe as the Ikrans approach Awa’atlu. The beach looked beautiful as it shone and reflected the sun. You looked nervously towards Lo’ak as you all prepared for landing.
You were on edge from the very moment you landed. You hated the way the Metkayina stared at you and the Sully family, but especially when they glared at Lo’ak – you may have hissed a few times.
Ronal had a circle around you like an animal deciding how to devour its prey, and you hated every second of it. But you were enraged when she lifted Lo’ak's hand to show his five fingers, saying they were demons.
And ever since then you knew this would be no easy adjustment.
When Tonowari and Ronal had finally decided to let you and the Sully’s stay, they designated their children, Aonung and Tsireya to teach you guys the way of the water.
You watched as Aonung tried to argue against it, and as Tsireya immediately agreed, asking you guys to follow her to the Marui you all would be sharing.
Looking over to Loak, you share a glance, before turning to follow everyone.
𓂃𓂁𓂃
The next few days were certainly… something. You couldn’t seem to do anything right – even Lo’ak learned how to do everything before you. You couldn’t hold your breath for long, and it was utterly miserable.
Especially because Aonung made it a point to constantly tease you. He had been insufferable to all of you since the day you’d got there.
With all the pent up aggravation you had, you needed some way to release it. And you could tell the same for Lo’ak. Most nights, you two would sneak off to get a moment of privacy, even if that meant just sitting out on the beach, long after the suns had gone down.
Tonight, you two were sitting on the beach, hands entwined. Your knees were pulled into your chest, and your head rested upon them. Lo’ak sat beside you, legs spayed out before him as he held himself up with one arm behind him. The other held your hand, rubbing slow circles on your hand.
When his movements stopped abruptly, you looked to your side, seeing Lo’ak staring out at the beach.
“What’s wrong?” You ask.
“I just–” He stops, struggling to speak.
You turn your body, giving him your full attention, hoping he’d open up to you about whatever he was feeling.
“I hate it here.” He sighs, sitting up more. “I hate that we come out here and sit on the beach every night instead of the trees like we used to. I hate not being able to jump and swing like we used to. Things are just so–so different here. And I hate it. I miss the forest.”
Your face softens as he speaks. You knew he’d been feeling it– but hearing him say it out loud set the reality in for you. You guys weren’t in the forest, and you probably never would be. You had to leave the only home you’d ever known, and now here your partner was in front of you saying he missed it more than anything – and he was struggling. And you didn’t know how to help.
So instead of saying anything, you just hug him. You hug him as tightly and lovingly as you can – because that’s all you can give.
His arms come around your back to hug you, and you stay like that for a while.
When you two finally separate, you finally speak.
“I feel the same. We just have to learn how to adapt together I suppose.”
He nods, and you two eventually head back to the marui, ready for what he next day had in store for you.
𓂃𓂁𓂃
The next day you didn’t have lessons, so everyone went their own way. You and Lo’ak went to walk along the beach and practice swimming, and Kiri was somewhere nearby.
When you had surfaced the water, you heard chatter nearby. Yu noticed it was Aonung and his group of friends.
But as you watched closer, you realized they were with Kiri. The next thing you knew, they were holding up her hand, making fun of her fingers. You look over to Lo’ak immediately, who was already watching, and immediately swam to shore.
You followed, already knowing this was going to get messy quick.
Lo’ak storms up, immediately yelling. “Hey back off, fishlips!”
“Oh look, another freak.” Aonung comments.
You had gone to Kiri's side, asking if she was alright.
But you continued to watch the scene before you, as Aonung had started to make fun of Lo'ak's tail. You hissed from where you were standing, catching their attention as you spoke.
“Leave us alone.”
Somehow, Neteyam had found his way over, and was now in front of Aonung, angry.
“Back off. Now.” He growled.
Aonung throws his hands up and takes a step backward.
“And from now on, I need you to respect my sister.” He adds, before turning to you, Lo’ak, and Kiri, motioning for you all to leave. You grab Lo’ak's hand, more than ready to get away from the group.
But as you all are walking away, you hear Aonung speak once more.
“Theyre all freaks. The whole family.”
It was simple– nothing he hadn’t said before. But you had had enough. He had disrespected you and what was practically your family, one too many times.
Lo’ak beside you tenses up, and turns back to the boy, walking over. You caught up to him right when he got in front of Aonung. You bring a hand to rest on his chest.
“Lo’ak, it’s not worth it. Your dad will be angry.” He sighs and drops his head, knowing you were right.
“But mine isn't here.” You mutter, before turning to Aonung and socking him in the face.
You hear the shouts of the rest of Aonung's group as you throw punch after punch, hearing Lo’aks laugh before he joins the brawl. You threw some nasty punches, and the fight was dirty. Hair and tails being pulled nonsensibly, and you think you’d bitten someone at some point.
When the fight was over, you were a little bruised up, with a cut on your lip as well. Lo’ak and Neteyamj looked pretty much the same.
And before you all headed home, Lo’ak pulled you to the side.
He brought a hand up to your face, using his thumb to wipe away the blood on your lip. Chuckling softly, he spoke. “You are so crazy.”
You smile wide, looking up at him.
“But you are mine.” He speaks, pressing a kiss to your nose.
“Your parents are going to be mad…” You speak hesitantly.
He shrugs, moving to hold your hand.
“We will figure it out.”
𓂃𓂁𓂃
As the four of you walked back to the Marui, you got increasingly more nervous. You had started the fight, what if Neytiri and Jake didn’t want you to stay with them anymore? What if they sent you home?
As you all enter the Marui, Jake immediately notices the state you are all in, and immediately starts shouting.
“What happened?!” He yells, Neytiri coming to join his side.
Neteyam tries to say it was him– but you cut him off.
“Mr. Sully, it was my fault. I started the fight.” Jake turns to you, confused. Neytiri straightens. Out of the pair, Jake had always been more accepting of you, and now you were scared you’d lost that. But you continued on.
“Aonung and his friends were making fun of Kiri, and then when me and Loak showed up they made fun of him as well. I’m sorry but I couldn’t stand by and just let that happen.”
Out of the corner of your eye, you could've sworn you said Neytiri smile for just a second. You must've been crazy,
“Regardless, you boys still chose to join. When you know..” Jake had begun to speak, and you eventually tuned him out, noticing Neytiri had been staring at you the entire time.
After what felt like hours of Jake lecturing you guys, he finally let up, and you all separated. But as you were going to leave the Marui, Neytiri called out your name.
“Yes?” You respond, turning to her.
She motions for you to join her in a little corner of the Marui, in front of her.
You take a seat in front of her, and she tells you to turn around.
“I have to rebraid your hair.” She speaks.
You were surprised, you thought she didn’t like you at all. But her braiding your hair? That was a whole new level of time and care.
But as she speaks to you, again her voice is lowered. “I was wrong about you.”
You stay silent as she continues, hands moving swiftly in your hair.
“You have a good heart. You protected my son and my daughter. You are fierce. I like it.”
Your heart swells with pride with each word she speaks. What you did today actually helped prove yourself to her?
A while went by, neither of you saying anything. She braided your hair rather quickly, only fixing the strands that needed it most. And when she was done, you two stood, and you turned to her.
“I see myself in you, and I see you.” She spoke, nothing but truth in her voice.
And that was all you needed. The approval you’d always searched for from Neytiri. She had finally blessed you with it.
maybe we are recom!r with RDA, when quaritch promises her "thunder" and their alliance, she wants something in return (like a promise) and chooses us - like maybe she noticed miles is standing close to us, there’s a respect between us and she likes it, or maybe we are a pushover and she want to take care of us in her ways,
tried to come up with something because there’s a small amount of varang fics and i love her. even if it’s nothing maybe a thing will pop up in you.
xx anon

Quaritch walks into the Mangkwan clan’s hideout, dripping in sweat from the heat outside. You watch from the lookout spot, right beside Corporal Wainfleet, who had his gun at the ready. Pulling your binoculars up to your face, you watch as Quaritch’s figure walks farther and farther away. Lyle nudges your shoulder, motioning you to follow him as you two brace the depths of the forest, to get a better vantage point.
When you two finally stop at a large tree, he kneels and begins to look out of the scope on his gun, tracking Quaritch’s every move. You gasp softly, gnawing on the nail of your thumb as Quaritch is intercepted by the Mangkwan people, being shoved forward with the weapons they had.
You watch anxiously as he finally makes it in the camp, noting how Varang looks at him when she comes out. Quaritch throws the bag of guns onto the floor, an offering. One that Varang considered for a moment, before looking back to Quaritch.
You block out every other sound in the area, the harsh wind and the … The only sound you could focus on was the faint taking coming out of the Corporals earpiece. You caught glimpses of the conversation, and when Quaritch talks directly to Lyle, your heart drops.
The next thing you knew you were jumping back from the sound of the gun that had just been shot. Scrambling back, you look over the edge to see a dead Mangkwan, a sinking feeling in your stomach.
–
You had loved Pandora since you were young, and as soon as you were given the opportunity you jumped on the trip to Pandora. Spending 8 years in cryospace was absolutely worth it.
As soon as you were there you went right back into your studies, this time getting to work with real scientists that had explored the beautiful world of pandora.
You envied them as everyday they got to go out in their avatars and document every little thing they saw in the forest, yearning to be like them one day. To have your own avatar and see the world for what it truly was.
It took many years to meet Quaritch. You had come along after he died, and they were just starting to create his avatar body. When they brought him back into the avatar, he was missing some of his memories, mainly what some Na’vi things were, such as Tsaheylu.
You were assigned to teach him everything you knew. And to say it was difficult…that would be an understatement. He was so focused on his mission of finding Jake, that he could hardly sit through the first few lessons, giving you a great deal of trouble.
Eventually, he had decided to invite you to his team. So that instead of sitting in some room teaching, you could personally help him navigate the Na’vi life by his side.
You jumped at the opportunity, excited to finally be given your own avatar, and get to experience Pandora without a mask. The thought filled your heart with so much excitement, and you appreciated Quaritch so much for giving you the opportunity.
To get you ready to go on missions with him and the corporal, he taught you how to fight, using knives, but mainly guns. He was a good teacher, and you picked the skill up rather quickly. The only issue was your absolute disdain for it. It was easy, sure, but did you want to do it? Absolutely not. You hated the thought of having to carry a gun around Pandora.
You ended up convincing Quaritch to let you go with him carrying only a knife. Well, he had ended up getting you 12 knives.
Being out on missions had been fun, he and Lyle protected you, and in turn you provided them with valuable knowledge.
That was, until you guys started getting into more serious missions.
–
You sat, jaw wide as you stared at the horrors below you. Lyle didn’t seem to care, neither did Quaritch, or even Varnag. But you couldn’t help but think about the Mangkwan that had just died. Did he have a family? A mate that he would now be leaving behind?
You didn’t sign up for all this.
But as you look below you at the scene, you notice someone else is looking back. And to your surprise it isn’t Quaritch, but instead, Varang.
She stared up at you with those beautiful, wide eyes, and for a second you felt as though you were in a trance. Like her stare had you under some type of spell.
You watched, unable to look away as she tilted her head and smirked at you, before she turned back to Quaritch.
You could hear the faint “We will talk inside.” Right before Varang grabbed Quaritch’s hand and led him into her hut.
You turn to the Corporal as you hear him getting frustrated.
“What are you doing, boss?” He spoke.
Your mind raced with fear as you didn’t hear him respond. What could they possibly have to do in there?
“Is he gonna be okay?” You murmur.
“Shit– I don’t know.” Lyle maneuvers around some trees to try and get a better vantage point near the tent, but he can’t.
“It’s okay, he’ll be fine.” You remind yourself, unaware of what was really happening in that tent.
–
Varang smirks as she had brought Quarith into her tent, her plan already set in motion.
“You seek a man. The other sky man like you?” She states, already grabbing her stick, dipping it graciously into the powder.
“Not like me. He's a traitor.” Quaritch responds gruffly, blissfully unaware of what Varang was about to do to him.
“Then he must die. Varang can help you find this man. And the other you seek. This air breather. First, I must see your soul. Be still.” She blows the powder into his nostrils, grinning as he stumbles back.
“That is some strong shit.”
Varang dips her fingers into the fire as Quaritch takes a seat, making a show for him.
She grabs her dagger, swiping it across his chest in a swift movement, before dipping her finger in and licking it.
“That wasn’t cool.” He mutters, high out of his mind.
“I will eat your heart, Quaritch. But first, you will answer me. Why are you here?”
“I’m here for you.”
She grins madly, atop his lap now. “You wish to serve me.”
“I don’t serve anybody,” he growls. “I need you.”
She scowls. “Well I do not need you. And I might keep you as my slave to pleasure me.” Varang purrs seductively.
“Well that sounds like a fun weekend, but that's not what you really want.” He responds.
She tilts her head, now more serious, before sitting back.
“You are right.”
“So what is it you want?” He asks.
“I want the girl.” She blatantly speaks, looking back at Quaitch with those crazy eyes of hers.
“What?” He blurts out.
“You hear me.” She checks her fingers, bored with Quaritch already. “I want the girl, the one with your man up there.”
“No-No you can’t have her.” He tried to sit, but had trouble.
“Listen, Quaritch.” She hisses. “You teach me how to make thunder, and I and my clan will help you. I keep the girl as… how you say..leverage?”
Quaritch sits back for a moment, considering. And the next second he has a devilish grin on his face as he nods.
“Alright, you got yourself a deal.”
Varang smiles back, before pulling Quaritch to his feet and exiting the tent.
—
You had been a nervous wreck, biting your nails until they bled as you sat on some branch. The feeling cold and uncomfortable beneath you, but you needed something semi-grounding.
He had been in there for far too long, and the wellknown brutality of the Mangkwan clan had led your mind to wonder in the most disastrous of scenarios.
So when you heard the clan hollering, your heart lurched as you turned around and saw Quaritch exiting the tent with Varang, looking utterly unharmed. Except for a cut on his chest, but that was relatively good for the man.
But your relief was short lived, however as the pair looked up at you. The next thing you know, Quaritch said something over the comms to Lyle, who had grabbed your arm and began to drag you down the mountain.
Your heart races as you look at him, and he looks back at you with a hesitant expression, before you two had reached the bottom. He pushes you towards the center, where Quaritch and Varang stood, side by side.
Staring up at their forms, you look to Quaritch first. His face looked slightly guilty, but not enough to stop whatever was about to happen.
Varang steps forward first, circling you like a vulture. She lifts your tail up, watching as you rip it out of her hands, clearly scared. Varang continues, inspecting your braided kuru next.
“Yes, she will do.” Varang finally speaks.
You freeze, looking toward Quaritch.
“W-what does she mean?” You ask hesitantly.
“Listen, sweets. Varang here is gonna keep you for a little, just until I can come back with a supply of guns, and bring all of yall back to the RDA.”
You stare in horror, drowning out the rest of his speech. You can’t believe you’d trusted this man. You hadn’t spent a day in Pandora alone, and now you had to spend an unknown amount of time with the mangkwan? This had to have been your own personal hell. You didn’t know what they’d do to you. And as your mind wanders on and on, you are suddenly brought back to reality by Quaritch’s silence.
“You got it sweets?”
“N-No, you can’t just leave me here.” You’re jarred as Varnag grabs your arm, pulling you away from Quaritch, you fight the entire way, but you were no match for a skilled warrior, as you ultimately accept your fate.
—
You sit across the room from here. Scared of all of the unfamiliar surroundings, and increasingly more aware of every movement Varang made from across the room.
She was now digging around in some basket, before she found what she was looking for, grabbing a tray on her way over to you.
She approached you slowly, as though you were some unpredictable wild animal, and you glared at her for this. When she finally reached you, she knelt down and looked up at you with a smile on her face. She held out something to you, and it took you a moment to realize it wasn’t a rag– but a loincloth.
“Mine. But you may wear it.” She held it up to you like it was her most prized possession, and you hesitantly grabbed it from her.
“What about a uhm– top?” You speak slowly, hoping she could understand you.
Tilting her head, she stares up at you, before finally catching on. She moves back to her basket and grabs onto something.
“Ah. Here.” She hands it to you, and it at least looked a little better than the loincloth, but still so revealing.
You look around, hoping there was somewhere private to change, but to no avail.
“Go ahead, I won't look.” She giggles maniacly as you flush at the thought of her seeing you in that way.
Walking into some corner away from her, you peel your RDA clothes off, and tie the loincloth and top onto your body, hoping it provided some sense of decency. As you turn back around you notice Varang staring at you, before motioning you forward once more.
As you sit back down, she brings up the tray, and you see the various colors of paint on it.
“Now that you’re mine – You must look the part.” She speaks, uncaring of anything she’d just said.
Your eyes widen at what she had just called you.
“Im not–” You try, but she shushes you, swiping paint down your lips.
“Sit back.” She demands, and against your better knowledge, you do.
The next thing you know she is seated atop your lap, painting your face entirely. You try to shove down the blush on your face and the heat now upon your body, willing your heart to stop beating as fast as it was.
This was wrong– everything about this was so wrong.
She grabs your chin, tilting your head slightly up, looking down at you seductively. She drug her lip into her mouth as you two stared- before you nervously looked away.
Varang hops off of you suddenly, smiling as her eyes study your face, proud of herself.
She stands, reaching down a hand to pull you up, and once you did you found yourself way too close to her. Taking a step back, you take a deep breath, unprepared for what the rest of this stay would hold for you.
—
You had been here for a few days now, and were now somewhat accustomed to it. The first few days had been spent learning Mangkwan culture, their traditions and special dances.
But today was the fourth day, and Varang had different plans.
You awoke to the sound of metal clattering. As you groggily sit up, Varang smiles at you holding two lengthy knives. You gasp and try to move backward, to which the woman laughs loudly at.
“Oh calm down sweets.” She speaks, mocking you with the word Quaritch had used for you.
“We are only going to be training today.” She grins like a madman, and you nod slowly.
“Come.” She walks out of her hut.
– -
You had spent hours under the hot sun that day, and you were exhausted. You didn’t know how much longer you'd last here. Varang had shown you what she had done about 50 times now and you still couldn’t seem to grasp the technique. The Mangkwans were something entirely different when it came to fighting.
Your limbs were growing exhausted, failing to lift them entirely. You look at Varang, who was watching from a few feet away. She smirks, looking deep into your eyes.
“Need something, ma yawntu?”
You begrudgingly nod. She walks up behind you, moving in that seductive way she always does.
“What’s the issue?” She leans down, resting her chin atop your shoulder.
“I can’t do this. I’m exhausted, and I’ll never be able to get this form right.” You speak, upset with yourself for not being able to do this.
“Shh, look, you hold it like this.” She adjusts your hands, placing them onto the throwing dagger, helping you to position your fingers the right way.
You tense a little, before relaxing. Whenever she got close to you, you couldn't help the chills that ran along your whole body.
“Thank you.” You murmur as she releases your hands, but not yet walking away.
No, she did something even more forbidden.
Varang let out a breath before she let her cold lips sink down into the dip of your neck, as she placed a chilling kiss in the divot.
And you knew you were ruined. Or you always had been.
Would love one of Tonowari and him just having sleepy and gentle sex
You groan softly in your sleep as you roll over on the sleeping mat, scooting yourself right up to your mate. It was a cold night and you needed some of his warmth.
As you slept peacefully, you felt a warm, heavy sensation on your hip. The next thing you knew, a soft pair of lips had found the spot where your neck meets your shoulder.
You mumbled as your mate kissed his way up your neck, suckling on it gently.
“Ma 'wari,” You mutter softly. “I’m tired.”
He continued kissing.
“Too tired for me?” His sultry voice rang out – still holding a hint of the sleepiness you both shared.
You hum, moving a hand back to cup his head, leaning your head back into him. You reach up to him for a kiss.
“Never.” You mumble against his lips.
He kisses you back, in a gentle and soft way, his lips enveloping yours as you slowly grinded yourself back into him. His body felt heavenly giants yours. All muscle, yet he was still your gentle giant.
When you finally break the kiss, you move to grab your braid, bringing it to the front of yourself as Tonowari did the same.
You two made Tsaheylu and it felt just as euphoric as the first time. You would never get tired of it. Of feeling the deeply spiritual bond – of getting to experience his feelings, his thoughts, his needs, and knowing exactly how to fulfill them all.
You open your eyes as you feel Tonowari untie the straps of your loincloth, already having taking off his. You felt him, hard and ready against your backside and your breath stuttered as you remember the stretch it always gives you.
Tonowari was big everywhere.
You take a deep breath as he gently lifts one of your legs from where you were laying, and begin to enter you, tantalizingly slow. The stretch is torture at the beginning, as you struggle to breathe through it, head already going to the clouds.
Only to be brought back to earth by Tonowari, who was pressing soft kisses on the side of your head.
“Breathe, yawntu.” He spoke.
Once he was fully in, and you had relaxed around him, he began to thrust into you slowly.
You loved these nights. When it was late and you were both exhausted, and you didn't need to rush or have fun, but you could truly make love to one another.
Nights when you could take the time to feel him. Feel his thoughts as he thrusted into you. Feel the way his heart beats against your back as you hear nothing but his grunts as his breath hits the back of your neck, and sound of you two muttering sweet nothings to each other.
You moan softly as Tonowari’s speed picks up, you knew he was close. He places your leg on top of his as he moves his hand down to you. He rubbed you deliberately, getting you just to the edge as usual.
Tonowari wouldn’t finish before you did, he made sure of that.
He leans down to your ear, nibbling lightly.
You gasp as he rubs you harder, getting you to the brink.
“Oel ngate kameie” He mutters just as you go over the edge, finishing with a loud moan leaving your lips.
In that same moment – as you tighten around him deliciously – he finishes in you, thrusting until he has completely stopped.
You pant softly as he brings your leg down, exiting you with a soft ‘pop’ noise. He breathes heavily as his arm moves to rest under your head, his other arm draped lazily around your side.
When you finally seem to catch your breath, you look behind you, only to find your mate fast asleep once more. You smile to yourself, turning in his arms to face him, and cuddling into his chest.
You felt nothing but happiness with Tonowari, and you couldn’t wait for many more nights like these. Nights spent wrapped in each other's embrace – warm and welcoming.

Summary: Y/N doesn't want her relationship to be a secret anymore, but how will Aonung react to this?
A/N: Another Aonung short fluffy fic for those who wanted it!!! I hope these are good this one was made rlly quickly at lik 1am so I hope its still good, feel free to request more, and ill make more on my own as well! enjoy!!
You never knew why, but you’d always had a crush on the chief's eldest son, Aonung. You’d seen him plenty as you two were often placed in groups together when younger, and taught the ways of the tribe. Since then you’d always had feelings for him.
Your friends would make fun of you, saying he was nothing but an arrogant jerk and wasn’t a good fit for you, but you swore you saw otherwise. You never failed to see the moments where he went out of his way to help one of the elders. Or the times when he would help a small child with a task they were getting increasingly frustrated with. The times when his smile truly seemed to glow, and all his other worries were lost.
So there you sat, weaving another basket together as you watched Aonung from afar, teaching the younger boys how to use weapons, snapping at them quite often. Your eyes stayed steadily trained on him as he moved. You only stopped when your friend began waving her hand in front of your eyes.
“Gosh come on, you know hes an arrogant skxawng dont you?” She groans.
“I don’t think he's that bad.” You respond, looking down at your basket that you had messed up again.
“Hes berating that young boy as we speak.” She responds, looking over her shoulder as Aonung shouted at one of the boys.
You sigh, knowing he always acted that way, but you swore he was better than that. At least to you. Your brows furrow as you fumble with your basket, before getting angry and dropping it. You walk off, frustrated with the basket. Well– not just the basket. It was your friends and family too, they didn’t understand why you liked Aonung, and now that you were getting older the pressure was on for you to find a mate, but you couldn’t stand the thought of settling down with anyone really. Considering your whole life you had pined for Aonung.
After taking a few minutes to cool down, you walked back to the place where the baskets were woven. You noticed your friend had left, but when you looked down at your basket you were surprised, seeing that someone had fixed your mistake for you. You shrug to yourself, thinking how it must've been your friend before she’d left. As you sit crosslegged once more to finish your basket, you look to where Aonung was training, watching as he walked back to the training ring from wherever he had been.
After finishing a few baskets, your attention was brought back to Aonung when you heard a laugh. It seemed as though one of the boys had splashed Aonung with a puddle, and Aonung turned away from the boy to smile and laugh, a sight that you absolutely loved to see. When he noticed some people had looked over at him, his smile immediately dropped.
Honestly, sometimes it made you feel crazy that you were the only one who saw him like this.

After a successful day of basket weaving, you pile them all onto each other, some filled with fruits, others with meats, and some with both mixed in. The pile went up over your head and as you stepped outside of the hut, you realised the sun had already set and families were preparing dinner.
You try your hardest not to fall and drop every basket, you begin to walk to where the Marui’s were. Head hidden by baskets, you hear someone run up to you, getting a little scared you turn your head back.
“Woah- careful.” Aonung speaks, moving a hand to the baskets to ensure they don’t tip over. “Here, let me help.”
He grabs the majority of the baskets from your hands and you can already feel the blush upon your cheeks. Thank Eywa it was nighttime. Aonung joins you on your walk to deliver food, and you thank him graciously.
“Honestly, thank you, I was scared I was about to drop everyone's food for the week.” You speak softly.
“It’s no problem at all. Anything for my pretty girl.” He flirts shamelessly, walking so close you guys brush each other often.
You don’t respond, but the heavy blush upon your cheeks was enough to show him what you felt of that, as he chuckled softly. Walking up to each Marui, you had run out of baskets so you grabbed from Aonung's pile, and left them at each door, greeting the families inside as you went.
You hadn’t realized it, but Aonung's eyes never left you. The way you gracefully placed the baskets down, and the way your long hair fell down as you did. How the beads on your skirt clanked together each time, and he couldn’t have wished for a sweeter sound.
To be completely honest, Aonung had never felt more at peace than when he was with you. It was normally late at night, when no one was around to watch or judge him as he entertained you.
You, with your beautiful brown eyes that always looked up at him with such sweetness. You, with your beautiful smile that always brightened his day. You made him feel like he had purpose– like he wasn't just the jerk that people often thought he was. And he’ll admit he did play into that role a lot, but that's because he liked the control, needed to be able to prove his worth in his role.
So he watched as you delivered baskets, and felt nothing but light and happy as he walked along.

When you'd finished every basket, you stand at the end of the docks, rocking back and forth on your feet, facing the water. You sensed Aonungs presence behind you before you felt it. He leaned down to rest his chin on your shoulder, his hands coming around your stomach. You sighed heavily, feeling a sudden weight on your heart.
“Aonung…When can we tell them?” You speak softly, and a little broken.
“Soon, my syulang.” He spoke calmly, moving in front of you. He brought up a hand, revealing a flower to you.
The first thing he'd ever done for you was give you a flower. It was when you two were younger, and you’d had a particularly difficult day. Aonung had recognized this, and picked the prettiest flower in the village garden, risking getting into trouble to get it, and brought it back to you. It wasn’t lost on you that the flower was your favorite flower. So, naturally, when you two got older he started to call you syulang (flower).
You smiled sheepishly as he entwined the flower in your hair, stepping back.
“You look beautiful.”
“Thank you ‘nung.” You spoke, reaching down for his hands, interlocking fingers.
You tugged him along with you as you walked back across the docks.
“You wanna know something?” He whispered.
“Ofcourse.” You respond.
“You make things feel…easy. I don't have to hold myself back when I’m around you. You make me feel safe, and protected, and I couldn’t be any more grateful for you. So, tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow?” You question.
“Tomorrow, we will tell them. We walk hand in hand through the village carelessly. We love out in the open, because I am not ashamed. I want people to know I have finally found the one who makes me feel…free.”
You two had stopped walking at some point, now standing in front of each other, as you stared up into his eyes and found nothing but honesty.
“You are much too kind. But I am glad, Aonung.” Your hand came up to cup his face, he melted into the touch. “I am glad to be the person you feel comfortable with, and I only hope I’ll continue to be that for you.”
The walk back to your Marui was blissful, hand in hand, and this time not afraid if somebody walked out and saw. When you arrived at your family Marui, Aonung had kissed you deeply, with no restraint. Finally breaking apart for air, the smile wide upon your face as you reach up for one last kiss, as well as a hug.
You watch as he walks away to his Marui, feeling nothing but utter happiness.
“Goodnight, ma syulang!” He shouts, uncaring of who might hear. You smile, knowing he knew you so well he knew you always stood outside of your Marui, watching until his figure was out of sight.
“Goodnight.” You speak, mainly to yourself as you enter your home, and fall asleep that night to blissful dreams of the future.
Summary: When Aonung and Y/N get trapped in a cave together, they are left with too little air, too much silence, and feelings that surface in the dark.

The sun was beginning to rise just as you’d gotten up. Getting ready quickly, you head down to the beach, feeling the hot sun begin to beat down on you. As you reach the waters, you chuckle softly to yourself as the sight in front of you becomes clearer – Aonung, and his group all gather around the water, arguing about who’s the best swimmer. Half the clan isn't even awake yet and they’re already fighting.
Walking up, you bump into Aonung purposely, making your presence known as you join the boys in staring out at the water. You give yourself a minute to close your eyes and breathe it all in. Enjoy the scent of the salt water as you feel it splash up onto your leg, feeling the sand sink beneath your toes. You turn back to the boys – finally speaking.
“What are you all arguing about this time?” You flash a smile.
Roxto turns to you, mumbling, “Aonung is convinced he’s a better swimmer than all of us.”
“Yeah, the skxawng!” Another boy joins in.
You laugh, clapping your hands together as you turn towards Aonung.
“Yeah well, we all know who's actually the better swimmer here.”
Looking back over at Aonung, you see him staring at you with a look you couldn’t quite decipher, maybe challenging?
“Oh come on, I bet I could swim all the way to that island and back in half the time you could.” Aonung challenged.
“Oh really? You wanna bet?” You snap back, crossing your arms as you level a glare at him. Your annoyance only increases as he smirks at you, ever so tauntingly.
With your back turned to the water, you walk backwards, motioning him forward.
“Then come on, fish boy.” You tease.
With that, you dive into the water, ensuring you get the head start, and not long after do you hear the familiar splash and rush of water against you as Aonung swims alongside you. Grinning at him underwater, you propel yourself forward, in hopes of reaching the island first.
Somewhere along the way your limbs began to grow tired, aching with the weight of pushing your whole body against the waves. The water became more violent, slowly at first and then hard to overcome. But you knew something was wrong when the fish were no longer present, and the ocean got quiet.
You swam, trying to at least get to the island and out of the water, when suddenly the ocean became darker, the light above very little. You realized you were entering a little cove, one where the water was considerably warmer and much darker. You hesitate before entering, wondering if this was better than just trying to make it to the island. Eventually, you realized that you’d need to resurface for air soon anyways, and with that you entered the cave. It was nothing big at all, in fact there was only a small pocket at the top where your head and chest could fit before you hit the ceiling, but it was just enough to breathe.
Your eyes close as you splash water onto your face, dragging your hands through your hair. You nearly jump out of your skin as you open your eyes to see Aonung before you. You look hesitantly behind him, before finally speaking.
“What was that out there?”
“I’m not-” Aonung starts to speak, but is suddenly interrupted by a loud, howling wind and the violent crash of waves. And before either of you can realize what’s happening, the rocks begin to collapse. You weren’t too sure of what happened in the moments following the collapse. Only that you had somehow ended up in Aonung's arms.
When the rocks had finally stopped falling, and the debris settled, you immediately left Aonung's protective hold, instead moving to see the damage. To your dismay, the entrance to the cave had been completely blocked off.
With the entrance blocked off, the gravity of the situation finally began to sink in.
𓆉 ⋆.˚ 𓆝⋆.˚
Aonung wasn't sure what happened, but he knew he protected you as best he could. He felt the scratches on his back now stinging as the saltwater washed into them, but he didn’t care as long as there were no scratches on yours.
He noticed however, the exact moment the fear got to you. He noticed the way your breathing got quicker, and how your eyes seemed to roam over every detail of the cave, searching for an escape. This, however, only made you panic more when you realized there was no other way out.
Aonung knew one of you had to be calm in this situation, and it clearly wasn’t going to be you.
𓆉 ⋆.˚ 𓆝⋆.˚
“Oh Eywa, we're stuck.” You finally voiced what you had both been thinking.
Aonung only nods. How is he not more panicked?
“We’re stuck,” You repeat. “Nobody knows where we are– how are we gonna get out.”
With each word spoken, you can feel yourself getting more worked up. Feel the way your breath picks up, and your limbs grow heavier, how were you gonna stay afloat?
“W-what if we run out of air? Aonung what if we never make it out and we die in here because we ran out of air?!” You start to shout.
He only sighs, bringing a hand up as a way of getting you to stop. You stare dumbfounded at him, but listen as he begins to speak.
“If you keep breathing like that, we might.”
You shut your mouth that second, a little embarrassed, feeling the way your cheeks turn dark.
“Listen… If you're scared,” he murmured sweetly. “Stay close.”
𓆉 ⋆.˚ 𓆝⋆.˚
That was when you understood just how tight of a space the little cave was. Your shoulders were nearly touching the stone, and there was hardly any room to turn fully. Not even able to move without bumping into Aonung.
Aonung had tried to readjust, as it had to be more uncomfortable for him given that he was bigger and broader than you. As he stretched, his chest bumped into you, arms moving to steady you as you struggled to float. Both of you had paused, aware of the contact happening, but neither of you was moving to pull away.
Your breath hitches as you move to look up at him, straining your neck. He looks down, and you feel his fingers tense from where they still held onto your arms, before he relaxes again. Neither of you apologize, continuing to stay quiet.
You noticed as his breath slowed to sync with yours, something he wasn’t probably aware of, but you noticed it. Being in the cave made it feel as though every move, every breath, was amplified. And you two sit in the silence, with only the sounds of breathing and the rough weather outside, quieted by the rocks encasing you.
His breath warms your cheek, and you note how his hands finally release your arms. You find yourself becoming increasingly aware of just how close he is to you – how close your chests are, and your mouths. Time feels as though it's slowed all around the two of you.
Looking up once more, you find him already staring down at you. The look in his eyes was so conflicted – his eyes softened as they stared into yours, but they still showed great restraint. Something unspoken passes between the two of you – a deep understanding.
“Aonung…” Your voice comes out as a whisper, but you needed to say something to break the silence and tension.
His eyes drop to your lips as you speak, and you see his jaw tick as he looks back up to your eyes. He doesn't respond, only continues to let the silence stretch on.
Your voice drops without you meaning it to, coming out breathy, as you hesitate before speaking. “Aonung.. We’re already close.”
Watching as his breath stutters, he leans in just slightly. You notice as he swallows before answering, and dips his head down, your foreheads almost touching.
“I know. That's the problem.”
His words settle between you like a held breath. The cave feels smaller somehow, the stone at your back colder now that you’re so aware of the heat in front of you. Aonung doesn't move away. If anything, he leans closer – just enough that you feel the shift of him, the careful control in the way he holds himself still. His eyes search yours, no teasing left in them now. Just something raw, something unguarded.
“And it's still not close enough,” he muttered this so softly you weren't able to hear it. His gaze flicks to your mouth before he catches himself, his jaw tightening once more. You can hear his breathing now, slow and deliberate. The space between you hums, charged and fragile, and neither of you dares to break it.
𓆉 ⋆.˚ 𓆝⋆.˚
When the feelings in your chest had finally decided to calm down, your mind took over once more with all of your fears. The thoughts racing through your brain of everything bad that could possibly happen in this cave.
“It’s too tight in here…” You mutter, breath picking up once more, a detail that Aonung quickly picks up on.
“Hey- Hey stop focusing on that.” Aonung attempts to interrupt your line of thinking.
He’s not quite sure what to do, how to calm you down, so he resorts to the quickest thing he could think of.
“When I was younger… I hated being the Olo’eyktan’s son.” His words come out slow, as if he’s struggling to be this vulnerable. “I never felt like I had control of my own life, and my decisions on many things were undermined–mainly by my parents. Like when I was younger I was only ever praised and loved if I did something exactly the way my dad wanted me to, if not, I was practically ignored. And recently, when my parents and the elders were making a decision on how far out we should be allowed to fish– and I-I told them my thoughts but they all completely brushed me off. Saying I didn’t know what I was talking about but I fish more often and know those waters probably better than they do. But, they decided on what they thought was best…only to change their decision to what I had said after another elder declared it.”
Your breathing had steadied without you knowing it, as you quietly listened to his saddening story. The look on his face was enough to melt your own worries, and feel nothing but sympathy for him. You saw him differently, no longer just an insufferable boy who was always roughing it out with his friends – but as the vulnerable one, who felt deeply misunderstood.
Since he was being so vulnerable, you decided you should be too.
“When I was little,” you continue, “My older sister, uhm she held me under water. Not for long. Just long enough. It sounds so silly saying it now, but at the time it was horrible. I remember knowing I needed to breathe–and not being able to.”
“It’s kinda like control as well, I hate not being in control of situations. It’s not a big deal really, not compared to yours, but I just learned how fast air becomes precious.”
It felt as though a weight had been lifted off your shoulders. And at least maybe now he didn’t just think you were over dramatic and crazy. Because the truth was, being in this cave had made you feel like you were still that little child, trapped underwater with no way to the surface, kicking and shouting– inhaling loads of water.
The silence this time wasn't stifling– no, it was comfortable. It felt like you two could finally understand each other.
You lower your head, to try and cool yourself off a little with the water, when Aonung suddenly lowered his head down as well. He didn’t want you to feel alone. Tilting your head up a little, your noses brush and breath mingles as you two both lean forward to rest your foreheads together. It was light, but grounding, and neither of you pulled away.
Aonung had reached underneath the water and grasped your hand. His fingers interlock with yours slowly, serving as reassurance.
𓆉 ⋆.˚ 𓆝⋆.˚
With your head slightly tilted up, he leans down just a little more– and with that movement you realize your lips are only an inch away. His moves are slow and deliberate as you almost ache to feel the feeling of his lips pressed against yours. His hand tightens around yours under the water– grounding – and you realize with a sudden ache that he's not pulling you closer, he's anchoring himself.
Aonung hesitates as he closes his eyes. And that's when you know he's going to stop.
He presses his forehead into yours, like he needs the contact although he denies more of it. He lets out a quiet broken exhale.
“If we go any further,” he whispers. “I won’t stop.”
The words hit harder than a kiss ever could.
𓆉 ⋆.˚ 𓆝⋆.˚
With that, he pulls away and begins to look around the cave. The loss of his hand hits you straight in the heart, but you pretend not to care.
“Alright, let's focus on getting out of here.” He touches each wall of the cave, diving underwater to see if there's a hole down there to get out. He resurfaces with a smile on his face.
“I think we can get out through that hole, but it's tricky so I’m going to do it. You stay here and wait.”
And with that he went back underneath the water, you followed to watch. He struggled to fit himself through the small crack in the cave, and when he made it through you held your breath, waiting to see if he’d come back.
Suddenly, he stuck his hand through the hole, motioning you towards him. Swimming up to the hole, you squeezed yourself through and breathed a huge sigh of relief when you felt sunlight on the other side. You could finally see the ocean and creatures once more, the weather had started to clear up.
The two of you swam up to the surface, finally reaching the island. You stood up fully, reaching your hands up towards the sun, feeling it beat down on your face, nothing felt better. When you finish your stretching and inner celebration, you turn back towards Aonung.
He was looking at you, the water still dripping off his body. Eye contact felt different now. You had a feeling that the things that happened in the cave would change the dynamic between the two of you forever now. You’d only hoped it would be for the better. And then he spoke your name, in a way that sounded nothing but soft and sweet.

Here is my very own Na'vi clan!! They have a lot of things and i’ll probably add more on but this is the outline for them!
Firstly lets get into a bit of a backstory. The i Límfyan clan is a Na'vi clan that lives on the ocean, but very very far away from other clans. Centuries ago, they lived in peace with other Na'vi clans, but after the Tsahík got a 'sign' from Eywa, they traveled far away. As they began their travels, a huge war broke out between the other Na’vi clans, and this is why they believe they got the sign. They traveled along the coast until they discovered a medium sized island, choosing to settle in there. Most Na'vi thought that the Límfyan Clan never survived the journey, and the Limfyan liked the solitude that came with this notion.
----
Territory: They are far away from other clans, they live around treacherous currents and deep oceans. It is difficult to navigate the area without guidance unless you are a native, meaning many don't travel there. Underwater there is a vast cave system, as well as some above water, filled with bio-luminescence. The caves serve different occasions, some are for worship, some for crafting, some for bathing, etc.
Lifestyle: The Límfyan are deeply spiritual, more so than other clans. They don't just live alongside Eywa, their whole lives surround her. Claiming that they hear her in the wind and the way the waves crash. They hear her voice coming from the corals, and through the echoes of sea creatures. For example, they can tell when the voices of the corals turn deeper, that a storm or big event is incoming.
Reputation: The Límfyan are mainly known through old long-lost stories, as "The Watchers of the Deep". While many Na'vi no longer believe they exist, the Límfyan are still the ones that ensure the safety of all other clans as they pray and worship Eywa with their connection to the land.
----
IMPORTANT PLACES
Underground Cave Systems: They are an intricate cave system, filled with bio-luminescent walls. The caves are said to be a place where old ancestors long past used to transcribe the words spoken directly from Eywa. Behind moss covered walls, symbols are carved, and glow with a strange light. The symbols are written in an old mysterious language, that only the Límfyan have learned to read.
The Singing Coral Reef: A massive coral reef underwater, a slight swim away from the island. It lets out harmonic tones similar to that of song when the waves run over it and the fish swim through it. The Límfyan believe that this is the voice of Eywa and they try to interpret the songs as they repeat them.
----
FLORA
Moss: Grows only in the underwater caves. It covers the script on the wall. If a certain tune is hummed-one that can only be learned from listening to the corals- then the symbols will light up to reveal themselves.
Lilies
----
FAUNA
Apxavak (large snake): a large, serpent like creature with shiny, almost transparent scales. These creatures are deeply respected by the Límfyan. They can be spotted deep underwater sometimes, and are surprisingly calm creatures. It is known to only come to the surface of the water to warn the clan when a great change is going to happen. Whether that is with someone or an event. It is believed to be a creature that is sent by Eywa to guard and warn her children.
Eywa's Tsawl'tirea (big spirit): a huge, leviathan sized creature that hasn't been seen in decades. Said to be only be awoken when the people need protection, as it is often seen as a projection of Eywa herself. Some Límfyan believe that the sea floor is the creatures back.
----
CULTURAL PRACTICES:
They have two large celebrations (ftxozä) a year. Nokx'atan (give birth to, light) basically spring equinox, and Vawm'tsaw (dark, harvest) for fall equinox. On these days, the Límfyan will travel underwater to gather bio-luminescent ink that comes off from the moss in the caves, and paint the clan members face with it. They stay up late into the night celebrating, dancing, telling stories, and enjoying Eywa and all of her blessings.
Singing: The art of song is deeply ingrained in the Límfyan culture. They learned many of their songs from the coral, and they repeat it to keep the traditional songs going throughout generations.
The Great Bonding: Like many Na'vi cultures, the Límfyan cherish their bond with many creatures. The Atanvi Swirä (ray creature) are rare and hard to come across. When an Atanvi Swirä approaches a Límfayan Na'vi, it is said that they must immediately climb atop the creature, and make Tsaheylu with the creature. Oftentimes the Atanvi Swirä do not fight back, because they have seeked out the Na'vi they choose to bond with.
I did a thing!! I might have just made a whole new na'vi clan... uhm they actually have sm lore and before i can post any fics ideas i have for it i have to do a huge post describing everything about them. they have their own land, creatures, plants, culutral traditions, and more!! i'm geniunly so excited to intorduce you guys to them. i might try to get some commisioned art made for it because i'm just so happy with the worldbuilding that i've done.

Summary: When the Sully family comes to your clan seeking uturu, you realize you have a certain interest in the eldest Sully boy.
It was a peaceful day, the water calm and the breeze steady. So when there was a sudden commotion near the entrance of your village, where everyone was beginning to gather, you followed, curious.
Heading to your spot, in the very middle, heading to your best friend Tsireya, standing slightly behind her. You were practically Tonowari and Ronal's bonus child – growing up incredibly close to the family, they accepted you as their own.
You finally noticed the interesting family in the middle of the circle, they looked to be forest Na’vi. Hearing as the well known Toruk Makto spoke up, from what you gathered he was seeking uturu for his family.
You noticed the eldest boy looking at you, and you watched as he performed the “I see you” motion. You smile, looking away as you blush a bit, before turning to whisper to Tsireya, “The eldest one looks quite cute – and the younger one keeps looking at you!” She giggled and pushed you away gently.
Watching Tonowari and Ronal, they finally decide to let the family seek Uturu in your village. You smile as Tonowari turns to his children and you.
“My children, Ao’nung and Tsireya will help you learn the way of water. My daughter's best friend, Y/N can help as well.” Tonowari asks.
“Yes, sir.” Bowing your head respectfully, you respond.
Walking over to Tsireya, you wave the Sully’s over, “Come, we will show you to your Marui.”
As you and Tsireya lead the way, you look back to see Neteyam and Loak staring at the two of you, muttering to Tsireya as you both giggle.
When you arrive at the Sully’s Marui, Tsireya takes over to show them around it. You find yourself walking down the dock, before diving into the water. Needing to cool down, you weren't aware you were being watched. As you resurface, you smooth your hair back out of your face, coming to rest your arms upon the dock.
One of the Metkayina boys was sitting by the dock, gutting fish. You conversed with him, laughing softly as you spoke. It was meaningless conversation really, but you felt eyes on you the entire time.

From the moment Neteyam saw you earlier today, he knew he needed to get to know you better. But as he watched you talk to a Metkayina boy, he couldn’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy. You were truly beautiful, and he knew you probably had many suitors, if you hadn’t already picked one. He just hoped he would get the chance to learn more about you.

As you hopped out of the water, you noticed it was the eldest Sully boy who had been staring at you. Realizing you still didn’t know his name, you walk by, wringing your wet hair out, you stop in front of him.
He was quite a bit taller than you, so you had to look up. Making a show of fluttering your lashes, you speak, “I don’t think I ever got your name.”
He seemed to be at a loss for words, but eventually responded “ Neteyam Sully. And yours?”
“Y/N L/N.” You smiled up sweetly at him. “Ill see you around, Neteyam.” With that, you walked off. And Neteyam could've sworn you took his heart with you.

The next day you, Tsireya, and Aonung head down to the water. The Sully's underwater lessons would start today.
You sat on the dock with Aonung and Tsireya, feet dipped into the water.
“I think this is all ridiculous. I don’t want to have to teach those freaks.” Aonung speaks.
You nudge him with your shoulder, responding, “Come on, they're not that bad.”
Suddenly, a voice from behind speaks, “Oh really? Not that bad?”
You recognize the voice as Neteyam’s, and you move to stand up, smiling sheepishly.
“Sorry about that, my brother is overdramatic.” Tsireya speaks, patting Aonung on the back as she speaks to the Sully’s.
Neteyam notices the look Aonung gives you and Tsireya, wondering how close you and Aonung really are.
You speak up, “Alright, should we get started?” Looking at all four of the Sully’s as they nod, you all dive into the water as the lessons begin.

The three of you had been teaching the Sully’s the way of water all day long. Kiri was an absolute natural and headed off on her own a while ago. Tuk was doing well but tired out easily. And the boys…Well they needed some extra help.
You offered to help Neteyam so that Tsireya could help Lo’ak with anything he needed. Neteyam had gotten the hang of holding his breath underwater as well as swimming, and with many more days of practice he would be a professional. Now he just needed to learn sign language, and the other ways of the clan.
As you sat with crossed legs on the dock in front of Neteyam, you began to teach some of the easiest signs. When the signs got harder, Neteyam seemed to struggle making them. You admired how even when he struggled, he never got frustrated, he only kept trying. After a little while, you offered to help. When he accepted, you grabbed his hand and held it in yours, showing him how to make the signs.
You reveled in the warmth of his hands, and the feel of every scar. You found yourself wanting to ask how he got each and every one – if only to hear him talk for hours on end. Reluctantly, you released his hand and showed him some more of the signs. Too caught up in your own thoughts, you hadn't looked at his face.
Because if you did, you would have seen the deep blush creeping up his neck and drowning out the blue in his cheeks.

The next day was lesson free, as everyone was exhausted from the day before. Kiri, however, had tried to head out to the water. Neteyam and Lo’ak had gone out to explore the village when they noticed Aonung and his gang surrounding Kiri.
When they had walked closer, they heard the boys teasing Kiri, and Lo’ak stormed up to them. Neteyam rolled his eyes and went after his brother, knowing his hotheadedness would only get them into more trouble.
Holding an arm in front of Lo’ak to keep him from getting too close to the boys, Neteyam tried to talk to them.
“Look, we don’t want any trouble, just leave me and my family alone.” Neteym speaks.
The boys don’t seem to stop however, and when Neteyam turns to leave he expects Lo’ak to follow, only to hear the sound of a hit. Groaning to himself, he turns around. He chuckles softly to himself before joining in.
After all, he couldn't let his little brother fight the group all alone.

You had noticed when Lo’ak and Neteyam walked over to where Aonung and Kiri were. You hadn’t paid them much mind until you saw them all start fighting. Watching as Aonung and his friends were beating up the Sullys.
You ran over to the boys, shouting angrily, “Aonung!”
Aonung froze, and his friends followed shortly after. As you walked up to the boy, you grabbed him by his ear, pulling him down to your height.
“What do you think you're doing?!" You shout.
“We were only teasing her…” He starts. You tut and release his ear, shoving him. He rubs his neck sheepishly as you wave him away.
Kiri begins to lead Lo’ak back to heir Marui, and you turn back to Neteyam, who was staring at you wide eyed.
“Youre hurt.” You say, concerned as you walk closer to him to assess his injuries.
“It’s nothing too bad.” He says, using the back of his hand to wipe the blood that was dripping from his nose.
You grab his hand, muttering something as you drag him along. When you arrive at the Tsahik’s tent, you drag him into the room you regularly used when healing. Instructing him to sit, you gather some bandages and salves.
“I'm sorry, Aonung can be a jerk sometimes.” You speak softly, dabbing at his split lip with a cloth, before rubbing some ointment on it.
“Yeah…Are you two…?” He trails off, curious about whether or not you were into Aonung.
You scrunch your nose up, pulling back to look at him. “Ew, no! He is by far not my type, and he's practically my brother.
Neteyam lets out a hearty laugh that makes you absolutely melt.
“Well then, who is your type?” He speaks, taunting.
“I don’t see how that's any of your business.” You flirt back, bandaging his knuckles.
His only response is a smirk. You pat his chest, moving to stand.
“There you go, all patched up.”
He reaches for your hand, bringing it to his mouth, “Thank you.” He says, before kissing your hand.
You know your face is completely flushed, and you only manage to smile before he walks away.

The next day the Sully’s were given a day off, after lots of hard work.
The sun was setting and you were laying on a dock with Tsirey. You laid on your stomach– hands playing in the water, while Tsireya laid on her back, looking up at the sky.
“I mean he's just so perfect!” You speak excitedly.
Tsireya – who knew exactly who you were talking about – rolled onto her side to face you.
“Isn’t he way older than you?” She responds.
“Only by two years! Besides, when has that ever stopped me?” You respond, legs kicking in the air and giggling as you speak.
You continue, “I mean, they're tree climbing Navi right? I mean, you can trust me when I say i’d love to climb him like a tree-”
Tsireya cuts you off, “Y/N!” You both laugh loudly, enjoying the conversation.
“I don’t fully blame you though, his younger brother is quite cute as well.” Your best friend speaks as she lays back down to gaze at the sky.
“I knew it! He’s always staring at you anyways. Can you imagine it? We could mate with brothers and then we’d finally be family!” You speak excitedly.
Tsireya nods along, smiling wide. When you notice the sun has dipped below the water, you sit up.
“I’ve got to go, I’ll see you tomorrow!” You stand and start to walk back home, when you notice Neteyam sitting by the water, not far from where you and Tsireya had just been. You silently prayed to Eywa that he hadn't heard the two of you.
As you had begun to walk home, you are surprised when Neteyam joins you. Looking up at him, you were about to ask him what he was doing before he suddenly spoke,
“So, you’d climb me like a tree huh?” He let out a little chuckle as he repeated your statement from earlier. Your jaw dropped as you stopped walking.
“You heard that?!” You speak, tone hushed.
He simply laughed as he smiled down at you. And there, under the moonlight, his hand came up to tuck some hair behind your ear, as his eyes stared longingly into yours.
“I don’t think I’d mind if you did…” Neteyam’s voice trails off as his gaze lowers to your lips.
Staring, your mouth slightly open as you realize that he wanted you just as much as you wanted him. Your suspicions were confirmed as his mouth lowered onto yours, encasing you in a soft and sensual kiss.
His lips moved slowly against yours, clearly in no rush, and you reciprocated just as much. Bringing your arms up around his neck to bring your body closer to his as his hands rested upon your hips.
When you both pulled away, breathless, your soft giggles filled the air.
“Wow.” You speak softly, scared to ruin the beautiful moment.
“Yeah, wow.” He responds, before asking “Y/N?”
“Yes?”
“May I walk you home?” He speaks, seeming as though he wanted to ask something else, but that was all that came out.
“Absolutely.” You respond, smiling wide.
As you two walked towards the village Marui’s, hand in hand, smiling giddily, you knew it was meant to be. You didn’t care if he were different then you, he was an exceptional swimmer and he'd soon be a contributing member of the clan. You knew your parents could come to like him, and you only hoped his would do the same for you.
