i think the genius of the Tenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is that the basic premise is so naturally insane, you can just kind of do anything with it. Nothing feels out of place because honestly, what is "normal" for the TMNT? gritty and dark stories about a battle ofninjas? sure. A show that focus on them being teens and their relationship drama? yeah that works. A "monster of the week" style show with them all being goofballs?you know what sure. Space alternate dimensions adventures where they battle world conquerors? yeah i get it. Nothing is the limit for TMNT because they already broke the limit at the base idea.

After the Kraang invade the Earth, Leo decides not to remember what happened. He also hides his "infection" from the Kraang from everyone. Having introduced a part of itself into Leo's body, the Kraang is set to play unfairly, and plays on brotherly feelings, instilling in Leo his worthlessness and eternal failures, because of which his brothers do not like him. After trying to resist the internal turmoil caused by the Kraang, Leo gives in and loses to the Kraang, subsequently the latter gains control over Leo's body and mind. The only thing the Kraang wants is to get the "key" back to itself, for this it goes to Raph, attacking him. Realizing that Leo could have harmed his brother, he comes to his senses and tells everyone that he is possessed. The brothers decide to perform an operation to remove it from Leo's hand. At first, everything goes well, until Leo's body again becomes susceptible to the Kraang's capture. The vessel that was Leo turned out to be too exhausted and weak, so grabbing Donnie by the neck, the Krang moves into the genius's body, playing on Donnie's feelings of guilt for the death of his brother during the operation.

I still like to think that Krang would be a kind of infection that was transmitted. But anyway it was all created for entertainment purposes and i had fun with it
