Surprise gift to the friendly Jen ( ๑॔˃ ॢ‧̫˂)ॢ♡̷˚๐ I drew her oc Artrica in her much older form ~! I based off her design from this pic and added my own special touches∘⁎⋆✶

This is going to be a long report so get ready and thanks to everyone who will read this from beginning to end ( ´͈ ॢꇴ `͈)੭ु⁾⁾
Day 1:
Okay so I rode a bus with Tandra and Arin straight to Los Angeles to a place 6 minutes away from our hotel. The ride was 6 hours long + with a break in between to use the restroom. We played 30 turns of Mario Party on our DS's to waste time pfff We all wanted revenge on Waluigi for being a jerk as a CPU LOL Once we arrived at our stop we had to walk in the scorching heat around 4:30pm due to not having a ride because of bad luck ;; Eventually Elvira (who was a total sweetheart for letting us room with her and Kimi) found us walking after 20 minutes.. having to drag a luggage, backpack, and clothes hanger was a pain otl ;; but as soon as we arrived to our hotel Tandra, Arin, and I lied on the bed and I let the air conditioner breeze my back until I froze. We let our sweaty clothes dry that way too~ We eventually all put away our luggage stuff and Tandra and I put on our cosplays for Day 1 of anime expo! However we couldn't spend as much time as we could have if only our bus driver wasn't 1 hour late behind schedule ;;
I decided to cosplay a casual Sonia from Dangan Ronpa 2~
Although I doubt people actually recognized me as Sonia ;; I didn't have enough money to afford her actual cosplay and I got the wrong color for her braid to place on top of my wig so I need to work on buying her cosplay and braid next time.. although I do have her bracelet and shoes~ I was surprised people even took pictures of me ffff
As I was looking for my otouto's Be and Dg shsl bad luck occurred ;; Both of them had to leave the moment I entered the main hall of the convention and it was late for Tandra, Arin, and I to get our convention badges ;; (we bought for all 4 days and we already wasted Day 1) So gomen for not realizing you guys had to leave so early, you both should have told me something !! Next year we will be sure to plan better though haha especially having quality time with both my otouto's ;; Thanks Arin for helping Tandra and I with our cosplays, even a little bit helps~ ♥
My otouto's told me they were at the food court but heck I didn't know where that was until I went up the escalator so at least I know what place they mean once tomorrow came //

Arin decided to take photos with our nice camera and then we called it a day since we couldn't go to the entertainment hall or anything without our badges.

Day 2:
All of us in the hotel room decided to wake up early at 6am and the night before we were all cracking up at my alien ufo alarm to wake us up LOL Elvira's alarm however woke me up at 5:30 since I could hardly sleep ;; I guess thinking of ax too much and worrying about waking up late is bad, considering every day during ax I slept late and woke early haha Getting in my Hikari (Nagi no Asukara) cosplay was much easier than my Sonia, since the wig was super short and the clothes were easy to put on~

Day 2 was one heck of a walk !! Wearing Hikari's shoes was a pain, although my poor Manaka (Tandra) had blisters at the last day of ax ;; So I can't complain, although I barely took any breaks after visiting friends' all the time //
The artist alley was hugeEEEee like WOW so many amazing artists !! I am sure many people spent hundreds of dollars just here haha
I got to know two lovely artists !! I bought Hyde's senyuu (Rosal) buttons pfff We both fangirled since Senyuu deserves more love ! She was a butt and gave me a free Nisepanda button and so for revenge I gave her gummy bears on Day 3 ahaha
I also met the wonderful Jen~ SHE HAPPENED TO BE DURBE FROM YU-GI-OH ZEXAL AHHHhhh when do you ever see a Zexal cosplayer ?? I was such a big dork around her, it was embarrassing whoops ;; I watched her art in dA for a long time, but getting to know the actual person who is a huge sweetheart is a plus ! u q u and Jen happens to be a Yu-Gi-Oh fan~~ I hope I didn't bother you too much ! ;; I even asked for a hug on Day 3 since I won't see her until next year (maybe) She was so nice and gave me a hug /// I bought all of her Yu-Gi-Oh protagonist buttons as well ~!!

As the day went I finally got to meet the cuties I wanted to see for such a long time, Be and Dg~ I met them in the Workshop, since Dg needed to finish her Cynthia cosplay ! Be actually picked me up in the Artist Alley and oh man I hugged her super tight, but I couldn't swing her around otherwise I would mess up her Henry cosplay haha She had such a majestic cape ahhhh it was such a well done cosplay (whispers pro) We walked and talked a lot, I kept complaining about my feet hurting since I only stopped like 2-3 times the whole day.. I wish I got to talk more to my otouto's ;; We couldn't talk on Day 3 due to the crazy amount of people and bad luck in panels being open ! ;; Especially that darn K panel, that was closed EVEN THOUGH they were more seats for people grrr Next year we will work this out better, okay my cute otouto's !!

I also met Kariya !! I got lost on top of the West Lobby & Exhibit Halls
and so she came to pick me up and lead me back to the Artist Alley LOL Eventually I found my way once it was Day 3, but Day 2 I had a bad sense of direction for whatever reason ;; I gave her a big hug and we sort of twirled ffff We sat behind the wall since I got really exhausted after the amount of walking I did, I got to talk to her a bit but eventually we parted ways since she was walking with her friends' (and she went to go eat something) and so I waved bye and I hanged out in the Artist Alley some more~
Tandra and Arin couldn't get my text messages half the time because of the bad wi-fi ;; so my pictures couldn't reach them as I kept describing where I was and calling didn't help either. The three of us barely ate, but Arin bought us some ice-cream, the ice-cream guy is sweet, I hope he doesn't get too sweaty after selling ice-cream in the morning heat of LA ;; Tandra, Arin, and I ate a ton of snacks back in the hotel and chocolate that melted on the wrapper LOL Surprisingly I wasn't hungry during the days of the convention, probably because my mind was more focused on the con than on eating/drinking water.

The three of us went to the entertainment hall which was super fun !! We stayed there mostly during the night of Day 2 and 3 haha Tandra and I kicked butt in Super Smash Bros Brawl~ Don't mess with our gaming modes // We played only against boys, they kept swearing and stuff (it was entertaining to watch) since they kept losing against us. Whenever I brawled against Tandra 1 on 1, the dudes were getting all hyped up and were all "OoOooo" "WhoOooo' "OHhH MANnn" IT WAS CRAZY !!
Once it got really late, we all decided to head back to the hotel.. our night was terrible to be honest due to circumstances ;; but we were okay thankfully and slept peacefully. I texted/called Yume most the time, so it was all good~
Day 3:
Tandra and I decided to dress casually (as ourselves) since Day 3 was going to be our last day in ax~ (even though we bought 4 day passes, but because we bought our bus tickets last minute, we had to leave earlier than expected ;; we will change the time next year after realizing the taxi driver isn't that expensive) Arin was sweet and saved up money for the taxi just in case but in the end it didn't cost as much as we though laughs
I got to meet the lovely Yume~~ I had a great time talking to her, we met later in the night as well. I watched her Vanguard against people (the game is confusinggg, maybe one day I will learn how to play Vanguard cards against people) I kept going back and forth to playing SSBB and then going back to her table haha She thought I was a Russian lady when I first met her on Day 1, while Tandra thought I bothered a stranger ahaha I recognize faces in a second yo
Tandra, Arin, and I wanted to go to several panels but every time we tried going to a panel we had bad luck.. it was either full, closed, or the lines were crazy long ;; Next time we will go early to be sure we are the first ones in the panel !! I had a blast taking selfies with Tandra and Arin in the decorative photo shoot areas, like the cherry blossom spot~ We were actually looking for a Purikura station, until we realized Purikura's don't exist in ax but in Little Tokyo ;; So we decided next year to visit Little Tokyo to take our first Purikura's ! ;; At least we know where Little Tokyo is at.. otl ;; (it wasn't even far from our hotel, which was a bummer that we couldn't get photos ! ;; )
Once we arrived back to the hotel, we watched Space Dandy together with Elvira and Kimi pfff we labeled all of us as one of the Dandy's (which made the episode even more hilarious) and we watched Naruto Shippuden where Sasori dies in that episode (Tandra's babe) Arin had a great time watching us explain Sasori's age and stuff laughs We all decided to pack early too. Since Arin didn't have as much stuff as Tandra and I she finished early and went to sleep. Elvira and Kimi were already asleep before Arin. It was really late once we were done packing and we finished the rest of the packing once we woke up early in the morning to get ready to leave to our bus.
Day 4: (trip home, not AX Day 4)
I found it funny that we had an Asian bus driver for our trip to LA but then our trip back home we had a Mexican bus driver haha Not that we minded or anything ffff Tandra, Arin, and I played Mario Party on our DS's again, but oh man were we exhausted ;; I napped with contacts on and woke myself up and decided to try to distract myself with every way possible before returning home. After the trip was over our parents' picked us up and we all pretty much lazed on our beds after eating a good meal (or at least that's what I think happened after we returned home)

Biggest thanks to Tandra and Arin !! You guys made AX awesome~ I love you guyssss /// I hope big D gets to come next time too ! Arin was extremely patient and Tandra and I appreciate it so much, mainly me since I kept leaving you two alone to find certain people or just to walk alone.
AX could have been so much better if plans didn't fail for both sides of the party ;; but now that people know AX a little bit better, I am sure I will get to hang out with my friends' more or meet new people/friends that will show up in AX~

(This Alois was a darling !! She was super sweet and had an awesome cosplay~ Her parent's (I believe?) were extremely helpful and gave us a map to ax and a panel booklet (even though we got an extra one on Day 2) such kind parents though !! I wish I got to know her more.. sadly I didn't ask for her tumblr or anything ;; Thank you for having a great conversation with Tandra, Arin, and me~)
(Seeing other Nagi no Asukara cosplayers was a thing I did not expect ! The first time I entered the workshop with Be we spotted eye contact and once I found Dg I told them brb to go take a picture with her. The Chisaki was surrounded by pro cosplayers // We both took a picture of each other and smiled like dorks pfff)
(Jen was walking around out of her booth so I had to snag a shot before she sits back down shhhh looking good Durbe~*~*~*)
(Homg this Kurapika was hilarious asdasfd her comments on certain topics pfff The Leorio had such a fancy suitcase and suit !! These two looked great and were funny A+++)
(I ran down the stairs from West Lobby & Exhibit Halls just to get a picture of these two. I am so glad I recognize Gao and Noboru's color schemes in a second LOL I thought it would be impossible to find Buddyfight cosplayers, but I managed to find them! They even took their time to get out their Buddyfight cards awww Later in the day I also found the Buddyfight manga book (2 of them) that you usually only get when you enter a Buddyfight tournament?? I guess it was my Buddyfight day.)
(Pokemon Colosseum cosplayer AHHhHH MY LOVEeEe I always called him Seth in my game ahaha but OH MAN HE LOOKED AWESOME AND EXACTLY LIKE HIM IN THE GAME hhhhh he even put an espeon and umbreon on his shoulder !!)
(Onada and Manami hehe They both were selling stuff from their booth but I had to bother them for a picture LOL The Manami was fun to talk to as the Onoda was preparing themselves for a picture~ We were talking about the crazy dude that kept yelling to not step on the tape as the crowd lanes got crazy crowded on Day 3 (he needs a chill pill yo) I loved talking to them both once I got their picture, they seemed like really swell people wah)
PS I did take selfies with a few other people, but I won't post them since I am out of cosplay in those selfies or the other person is not in cosplay and I am not sure whether they would be okay with me posting a pic of them without them in cosplay //

Anyways to those who read this long essay thank you !! If you think I wrote a lot, I could have wrote more haha but I decided not to since I am not here to write my life story of every little detail I did during my trip to ax. This was my first time in Anime Expo, there were a ton of positives and negatives but it was a nice change to go alone with just Tandra and Arin and act like adults on our own~~ ∗◌+*♡
I said everything on LINE but wah you drew her so wonderfully Sara boo !! you are a total sweetheart for fixing up her design for me and I still adore how you did the shading ! LOOK AT ALL THOSE WONDERFUL DETAILS AHHHhhh / / / your shading is sublime~ it is appealing to the eye and her peace sign suits her well !! the spiky hair looks awesome too hhhh and the touch of pink shades and red on her design is great~~* the background is a smart way to use her design to your advantage hehe what a striking babe in your style~ once again thank you so much for drawing Vahlul !!
