Absolutely crazy to me that the pro AI people nearly always think creative stuff is a chore that a machine needs to do instead of something that is actually fun.

forget whether or not an LLM is capable of being good at creative stuff.....some of the most fulfilling parts of making any creative work is in the details of realisation. it's the problem-solving, the way ideas morph during early drafts, it's working round the imposed restrictions.

writing a keys solo and have a great intro lick and strong end, but no middle ? taking ur bag of ideas, quotes/references etc. and solving the problem of arranging them so that the whole thing makes sense is like most of the fun of it !!! sure it's mentally taxing, can take multiple sessions, and is frustrating at times, but that's also part of it !!!!
