Something horrible happened in my country. Lots of people already know the news, others don’t. A French weekly magazine was attacked by gunmen. It’s a satirical magazine. A magazine who defend our freedom, our democracy and our liberty of expression. This magazine was pointed many time because they draw satirical stuff about religion. Yeah, but they draw stuff about our president, about our economy, our life too!

And because they defend our liberty of expression, theses gunmen killed people without doubt! they killed journalists, they killed policemen and they killed artists! We have lost four of our best satirical artists today. 

Because these artists shared their opinions, because they draw a lot of stuff, these artists were killed. What if in general opinion it was our stuff who create polemic? What if drawing people portrait was a blasphemy? Maybe we will be dead too…

I’m an art student, I’m a artist and I’m now in mourning.  I cry these artists, I cry our democracy and I cry our freedom of speech…

I send all my love to the families of the victims.
