I really want to share some original writing but I don't really know where do it? My first thought it always wattpad, but I really don't like how they've locked some of the works behind paywalls and I'm not sure how well non-romance focused stuff would do on there (not a dig - I just noticed a lot of the works on there are romance/romantasy and that's not what I want to write).

I also used to use tapas.io a lot, but again some of their stuff is locked behind paywalls and i've seen people say it's a mess (though I haven't used it myself in a while.

When I've looked this up, I've seen people mention Royal Road, FictionPress and Inkitt, but I'd like to know if anyone has any advice/recomendations?

I was kind of hoping I’d have half a chapter lurking in my Google docs somewhere, but it seems old me purged my Google acc and there’s nothing there 🫠 so right now I’m starting the chapter from scratch.

There’s a chance I was writing it in Microsoft Word on my old laptop, so I’ll check when I get the chance, but I’m not at home at the moment. If not, it’ll be a completely fresh chapter, which might be for the better. I don’t know how much my writing style has changed in the intervening years, but I wonder if it would feel a little disjointed.
