Hello!! Call me Laurence or Finneas. He/they, 20, queer. Perpetually brimming with character+plot thoughts and fic ideas and perpetually too tired to share any of them unless I get a spur-of-the-moment urge to ramble in the tags of other people's posts.

This is a sideblog, likes and follows come from my main @inadequatecowboy! This blog is multi-fandom in theory but for the most part, we're on supernatural lockdown for the foreseeable future. Asks are always on and dms are always open!!

Seasons 1-7 enthusiast but many aspects of later seasons have my heart. Dean-coded, Cas-coded deancas girl -> I love them both endlessly & equally & I contain multitudes (read: disorganized attachment issues). Primarily preoccupied with Destiel but I like to play with other ships sometimes (Sam/Rowena/Eileen, Deancassie, Samjess, Jocassie, the infamous Rhonda Hurley, Deanbenny, etc).

Particular spn brainworms include: stanford era Dean, transfem/bigender + ace-spec Dean, gender-weird & queerplatonic destiel, intentionally repressed + self-imposed stoic questing knight Castiel, angels + dynamics of heaven, winchester family dynamics, complicated dadstiel, Dean and his kids (Emma, Jack, and to an extent Claire and Krissy), Mary and John + heaven's influence. Not a fan of Sam except for seasons 1-3 and low-empathy hunters-hub witch Sam who lives in my mind.

Dean actually comes up with increasingly ridiculous reasons to get Cas in his room around bed time so he can fall asleep knowing Cas is there because he sleeps so good when he knows Cas is watching over him, let's talk about this case, yeah lemme just stretch out on my bed, I'm just resting my eyes, very satisfied snoring... Cas just rolls his eyes and decides to rearrange Dean's guns by some arbitrary system (again) or read all of his books (again) until Dean wakes up

I'm afraid my fav type of destiel freak4freak isn't just the grace-kink, power outage, lite bdsm, incoherent Dean, but rather the overly described poetic evocative smut that's actually just very regular vanilla missionary if you take an objective step back. With like. Support pillows for the hips and creaking knees. Dean needing a hand back up from kneeling. Impala being too cramped. "I'm not 20 anymore". Jensen Dean handing Cas his chewed gum. Cas being horny for Dean for reasons that have nothing to do with how conventionally attractive he is. Just give me Destiel being intimate in a way that's concerning to the public

I think one of Dean's self soothing techniques is to just recite the entire plot of a movie he really loves all the way through, and often when they're driving back from a case, especially one that leaves them shaky and exhausted, Dean will talk the entire time, low and soft, reciting scene for scene, movie after movie, plot and dialogue and points of interest until they get back to their motel or the bunker, and Cas doesn't realise how much it soothes him also until he's alone, and I think when he is alone, when he has to pause for an hour or a night, he puts the tv on and closes his eyes and imagines it's Dean sitting beside him
