Update 3

Ok, so in the last two weeks Locket has:

1. Been catnapped (as we call it) twice

2. Was almost sacrificed (by her brother!!!)

3. Found her mother (disfigured, and thought she was dead).

4. Freed her enslaved mother

5. Betrayed by her love

6. Almost died

These last two sessions have been a wild ride.

P.S. I rolled crap. My friends house hates my dice tower.

GIF was my group and I during these emotional sessions. We have the best DM.

Last night we had a feelings bonfire with our characters from the campaign (because we went 4 months without knowing each other’s backgrounds), so we had an actual bonfire to go with it!

Spider-Fen

We are wandering through these tunnels looking for magical weapons. We enter a room (forgetting to check for traps, my bad), there is another door at the other end. Door closes behind us. We proceed to walk further, when all of a sudden the room (yes the room) starts to spin. Locket dashed forward and opens the other door, only to hit a spider web.

*flash forward* Our Gnome Bard (Fen) is on top of our monk when they get trapped in the web. The monk moved forward, but cannot bring Fen with her.

Fen, our little Gnome Bard, is now stuck in the web... in air...

The monk: *starts singing* Spider Fen, Spider Fen. Does whatever a Spider Fen does. Can she climb a wall? No she can’t, cause she’s a Gnome. WHATCHOUT! She is a Spider Fen.

Traps are a Rogue’s best friend... or not

Back story: We just defeated a vampire and have come along three chests. We have de-spelled, disengaged traps, and unlocked two of them. Locket is the only one who knows how to disengage traps, and they have one left:

Locket (Rogue): I roll to disengage trap

Locket: *rolls low*

Group: Silence

DM: roll a dexterity save

Locket: *rolls low* fuuuuuck

DM: *laughing* roll a constitution save

Locket: *rolls low* *bangs head against table

DM: *rolls dice* Locket takes 32 damage *rolls dice* and you are now in a coma for two hours

Context: we’ve reached a town to rest in before heading off into what’s called “the citadel” and probably certain death. We’re currently in the weapons store and the owner is listing off weapons

Store owner: we have whips…

Me( barbarian): oooh sounds like fun!

Val: (ranger) dont sell it to her. I roll to persuade *gets nat. 20*

Me: dude fuck you. I roll to re persuade him to sell it to me! *Rolls a nat. 1* fuck you Val.

Owner: get out of my store human. Now.

Me: *sulks outside * fucking Val.

Val: *comes out a few minutes later carrying the whip wrapped in ribbon* here. I’m sorry.
