yea I’m agreeing, I have a very hard time writing and deciding tone because of autism and schizophrenia and also people who make excuses to not examine themselves make me mad

i feel like some people just.. project onto characters so hard that they start to take any perceived flaws or attacks on that character as commentary on themselves. like that’s not what’s happening at all. in the end a lot more people need to learn when to separate fiction from reality, and that sometimes characters don’t always get “what they deserve,” or if the character does get what they deserved and a fan dislikes it then they should learn media literacy.

^ this of course assumes that writing will never be flawed, which is impossible. however when writing is good people should be able to recognise that. it all comes back to media literacy because if you’re media literate then you should be able to recognise when a character or a story has good or bad or nuanced writing to it and analyse it from there

look i get being a bit upset that you cant read comments cuz the vast majority of them are in russian, but ive seen two comments now on pinterest saying shit like "WHY are you all not speaking in ENGLISH" and "wtf is this alien language that's not english" (both using that one brainrot emoji. im not putting it because atp 90% of the time i see it accompanying a stupid take that couldve only been made by someone under the age of 13 and it pisses me off to see but yk the one. with the tired looking face yk??)
