I've been obsessed with making Star Trek blingees these past couple months. here are my favs (a lot of the GIFs are sourced from Tumblr, which I believe I've reblogged or liked. If you want me to credit your GIF or graphic let me know. screencaps mostly come from trekcore.com or me taking them myself. The character sprites are from the Star Trek Timelines game and are available at sttwiki.org and the graphics are from PicMix where I made these. very much inspired by jadenvargen's star trek blingees.)
also ignore the misspelling of Deanna's name 😭

Data from Star Trek tng pretty pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee :333
Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation is a lesboy!
my friend is watching star trek TNG, tell me all your TNG ships so we can compare notes
Geordi La Forge and Data.
No contest, no question.
I mean there are others, like there's some insane drama in the Picard/Q/Crusher Polycule And Family Unit, ft. Uncle Number 1.
And of course, famously, THE best polycule in Star Trek (The Keiko O'Brien Polycule) started right here, though it would not bear fruit (and babies) until DS9. But there's a Reason(TM) that Miles and Keiko's relationship IN DS9 is able to bear the weight of All That Wild Shit, and it's the foundation set by TNG.
But when you get right down to it, is there ANYTHING more compelling than Geordi and Data?
And YES this DOES mean you HAVE to sit through season one because otherwise you don't get Tasha Yar, who is INTEGRAL to the structure of the later Geordi/Data relationship, I'm SORRY.
You can truly ignore everything that doesn't involve Tasha, though. I mean do give each episode an honest shot, some of it is more engaging than you think, but don't break yourself trying to remember plot details for later seasons: they won't matter.
