(Batman: Gotham Adventures #2): Well, that explains some of the trauma. Harvey's father was a compulsive gambler and an abuser. He abused his family until he finally bounced from their lives when harvey was 13. But seeing as we're implying harvey's mom never lost love for her husband, I can see her becoming a negligent parent from that point onwards. So...yeah. This plus the suppressed anger from thinking he almost killed his bully, and it's no wonder harvey dent ended up so psychologically disturbed. I also kind of wonder why harvey's mom died. We're implying it happened, but we're missing a timeline. A timeline would be nice.

so im in the middle of cooking up a mouthwashing fix-it au, and im kinda hitting a wall bc i came to somewhat of a realization that these guys are kinda thoroughly fucked. bc. what can they DO with j**my?

think about it. if somehow they came up with the idea of locking him up, where? there’s clearly no actual “holding cells” (i mean, pony express literally gives the captain access to a gun whose only purpose is dealing with problematic crew members. like), and there’s no other place they could hold him safely, or without it inconveniencing them in a pretty serious way. the medical room? nope, that’s were all of their medical equipment is, and there’s no way to be sure they can move them out safely, since there could be medication dependent on how it can be contained. plus, he could try to escape through the vent, and even if he would probably die bc of that, there’s always the possibility. the cockpit is def out of question. they could put him in cargo, but he’d probably start sabotaging it just so the others don’t get even a smidge of their pay (even if they don’t know if they’ll get payed by pony express, without the cargo it’s pretty obvious their chances of pay will go down to less than 0). the only other place that can be locked is maintenance, but the cryopods are there. like, in case of a huge emergency their only way to survive, cryopods. ive heard the argument that they could put him in a cryopod, but that’s seriously kinda dumb. like. they’re a safety precaution, that’s their only way to live if smth happens, and there’s not enough for the 5 of them, so why would they waste it on jambalaya???? like. and even if they took him out, and then got themselves in, he’ll most definitely try to mess with the cryopods. he’s literally a short tempered asshole who looks down on everyone, and he doesn’t even see anya as human, why on earth do you think he’d just stand there while all the other save themselves on the cryopods??? anyways.

oh and all the rooms lock in from the inside lol. isn’t that fun? idk just thinking abt how these ppl are fucked whatever happens, so the only solution would be to probably kill the guy lol (nope! they’re also fucked there since they’d be without a copilot). lmao anyways i love mouthwashing it hurts my soul.
