transandrophobia is real. it is not "just transphobia".
and for the love of god it is absolutely NOT akin to white women coining "misogyblanc" or something. as a black trans guy it is an INSTANT BLOCK to anyone who says this in my presence. don't fucking play with me.
trans men and mascs are oppressed for being TRANS MEN AND MASCS. you cannot separate the transness from the masculinity, and trying to do so only proves you missed the point by a mile.
transandrophobia is a valid term, and people who keep playing semantics about it aren't allies, they just want to stall us talking about our oppression.*in tags
TMA/TME is a transphobic, exorsexist, and intersexist dichotomy. it is also just plain unhelpful, as no one is "exempt" from transmisogyny. even if it WAS useful, none of the people that use these terms are using it in a non-derogatory way.
bio/gender essentialism STILL sucks. masculinity is not inherently evil, femininity is not inherently good.
and most importantly, acknowledging these things to be true does not negate the fact that trans women and fems are oppressed and face transmisogyny. our issues are parallel to each other, it's not a "one or the other" situation.
