softest heart and brightest smile, his mere presence heal hearts

jaemin boasts good looks, grades, relationships and cooking skills but he remains humble, so much so that people occasionally get mad at him

because of his nature to forget and forgive, people use him for their own gains

that’s when he met you, when you stood up for him when someone “accidentally” poured coffee on him you later learn that it was his brand new off-white sweatshirt that got completely ruined

in order to repay you, he wanted to help you with your longtime crush

at first you doubted whether he’d be able to do a good job but his interpersonal skills proved to be a great assist to you

using his delicate language, he was able to help you secure a date

because of how happy you were you hugged jaemin out of joy

jaemin awkwardly moved his hand behind your back to give you a gentle pat

when you pulled away, your smile was blinding. a genuine smile unlike his own business-like smiles

it was at that moment when his heart jumped in his ribcage and it hurts

you didn’t know why jaemin’s smile fell but you continued to beam at him

speaking so fast jaemin could barely keep up, only catching words like “date” and “outfit”

a small fire of jealousy burned in him

jaemin wanted to be the one who saw you all dressed up

jaemin shook his head, clearing it before focusing back on you and your voice

jaemin realises the trap he would walk into but he says yes anyway

has the natural ability to attract animals to his vicinity

you simply knew him as the kid birds would bother with or without food

jeno’s natural gentleness and eye-smile attracts not only animals but people as well

you don’t know jeno that well, but on a random tuesday, you had went to the pet shop just to fawn over the small section of cats

you weren’t planning on buying any, too much work has to be put in

you had promised yourself to never get a pet until after you find a stable income

so like any other day, you simply went over and looked

jeno, like always, stood at the counter

you being you, you asked jeno if he could take one of the cats out for you to play with

jeno looks at you with interest dotting his irises

not only is jeno allergic, it’s also against the store policy to do what you had just requested

so jeno, being the diligent employee he is, shook his head

jeno really doesn’t know how to deal with people when they’re sad, upon seconds of you frowning and pleading, he changed his answer to yes right away

jeno walked over and gently cradled the kitten in his arms, cooing at it like he was soothing a crying baby

this moment feels so serene and you felt like you were third wheeling them

seeing you standing still, jeno laughs and calls you over

“... how do you know my name?”

“y/n you do realise we’ve been neighbours for years now right?”

embarrassed, you look back down on the fur of the cat and fought against the rising blush

“ah, my meds”

you looked at jeno, confused. 

“meds? for what”

jeno just laughs, his laugh not as soothing as before and he goes to the table

“for my allergy”

“allergy? like pollen allergy?”

jeno flashes his signature crescent smile at you and hums

“i’m allergic to animal fur, especially cats”

your utterly confused expression was on full display

“why’re you working here then”

jeno glances at you, letting out a nervous chuckle

“is it not obvious?”

“... is it because animals love you?”

jeno avoids all eye contact with you, almost glaring at the cats as he did so

“there’s that but also.... because i get to see you”

the fairy king of the forests who coincidentally dislikes all forms of human contact

mild superiority complex and a small bit of a tsundere

knows that there are a lot of things to be learnt from human cultures but refuses to interact with them

probably holds a personal grudge against the entire humanity

previous forest he was residing in got destroyed by guns and bombs created by humans

harbours extreme distrust of others

but you’ve visited him accidentally a handful of times when you were younger

he basically watched you grow up as a second parent

so you’re the only human he tolerates

once, monsters tried to attack you when you got lost in the forest since you’ve never been in the forest at night

renjun heard from other fairies roaming around the area and he immediately flew to where you were

thank god the monster was slow so you were able to dodge pretty much every swing and every kick

but renjun knows your luck is running out purely from the way you were panting

without thinking twice he casted the strongest spell in his repertoire, one that would result in him losing half his lifespan

defeated the monster but collapsed with a high fever

you brought him back to his little cottage and searched for a cure as fairies and sickness were never words that intertwined

forest pixies gave you a small note

“have the king drink your tears, it is the only way”

you were obviously confused and slightly concerned but as someone who knows nothing about fairies, you could only trust the pixies

as weird as it sounds, you spoon-fed your own tears for renjun to drink

renjun woke up surprised you knew of this method and panicked

“did the pixies say anything weird?”

you were stunned, of course, the first thing he says was not thank you but a cryptic question?

“i think the whole drinking tears thing is weird enough, i hope there wasn’t anything else”

renjun lets out a sigh and you were left to wonder 

before you could voice them out however, renjun shoved you out the door

just before renjun slammed the door close, he whispers. face red and heart hammering against his chest

“the way you saved me just now... should only be possible if we both loved each other.... romantically”

woojin: hugs, shadowy forest, firecrackers at midnight, fluffy white cats, pink rain boots, falling asleep to the sound of a storm, wearing multiple bracelets, hiking with friends, knowing what people are thinking just by looking at them, crystal ball, hot long showers, watching smoke rise, rush you get from leaning in to whisper secrets into someone's ear, fog lingering over quiet lake in the early morning.

he’s probably been waiting at the airport for 3hrs already

wants to be the first one to see you

when he gets your text telling him you landed

probably jumped out of his seat at mcdonalds

checks his phone every 30 seconds to see if you sent him another text

is the type to believe in rumors

like: kiss at the top of the ferry wheel and the relationship will last forever or smth

aka a pure cinnamon roll

but the booth owner probably ignores his aegyo

or is not as affected as hwi would’ve hoped

ends up pouting a lot more even after you kept reassuring him saying its fine

or saying you can just buy one outside

goes back to the booth 2hrs later

will actually try the game for the 50th time

you had to step in so he wont use up all his money

“no its not worth it, let’s just go.”

and he’ll probably reply with something cheesy like

and wont be able to stop laughing at the line for 3hrs straight

youngmin is a teacher type of brother

he will always tell you what you did wrong

tries to correct you

and to steer you back to the “correct ways”

whatever that might be

so one day you were peacefully walking in the school halls

happily just sipping on your strawberry milk

and you accidentally dropped the carton

so he walked towards you

as you slowly bend down to pick up the carton of milk

which spilt everywhere

was the first thing he said

you’d be lying to say you weren’t the most confused btch in the world
