day 4: "alt" hermit. hels

idk why i keep drawing hels for these alt hermits but hey he's just a guy so i guess i'll keep doing it

hels is wels' twin brother who suffered the most out of the two during a drift accident. both had to undergo 5 years of therapy (physical and psychological) to get back on their feet but hels had signs of lasting brain damage and it was deemed unsafe for him to ever pilot again.

if i had a better/higher res close up i would show his fucked up eye but alas the best u get is 2 pixels

It’s Hels for the Alt Hermit!

I was fully busy, so a minor chibi sketch, but he isn’t happy. I do like portraying the two knights as unicorns. It’s a cool concept in my eyes.

Day 2: Wels!

The Hermit' prefered way of annoying Wels is, while he's rambling, or trying to tell them off, just pulling down his helmet visor, and pretending they can't hear him.

Hels always used to do this when Wels was a kid, and then later taught Hypno how much it annoyed Wels. Now all the hermits do it.

ALT HERMITS

As someone a little newer to the fandom, I wasn't exactly sure who counts for ALT hermits. But

EVIL XISUMA AND HELSKNIGHT BE UPON YE!

This is basically all based on fanfiction I read and the perception of them I got. Just one of their ussual fights, don't worry!

ART DETAILS (and explanations) :

-Wels and Hels are knights

-Xisuma and Ex are voidwalkers or some other creatures from the void and can control the void and code "matter". As an admin, Xisuma can control it easier, has more precision and power. He also uses it to protect himself and others (like wels). Ex, on the hand, has some trouble and is basically brute forcing his power. He uses it mostly for attacks, and if it is for defence, it's mostly for himself (or really nasty attacks for others. simply because it wouldn't be ideal for him to have a severely injured... Teammate? Minion? Friend? Idk.

^Because of how they control the void/code, it is represented differently. For both, the more colorful part of the "tendril" are for attacking. For X, the part that has a lighter purple is for defending. Tendrils controlled by Ex fade on one end, because he is pulling the code from around him. With Xisuma, because he's the admin, the code (probably Hermitcrafts servers) listens to him, so he can "create?" them wherever he wants, and it won't damage anything. That's not the case with Ex – the code he pulls has to be put back correctly or there will be severe problems. Not that he particularly cares. That's not his problem + he's here to cause problems.

I really need to start working on these earlier in the day. Cus for me it's technically may 5.

I was planing on actually drawing Wels and Xisuma, but time got me. There was supposed to be even more rendering. The people, the armour, the enviroment.

Also, why did my mind decide that I, a person not experienced in drawing armour at all, should draw FOUR PEOPLE WITH ARMOUR. Two of them in plated, witch I haven't drawn, probably ever or in forever!? Why!? Why, me, why!?
