Alright, it’s time for my very first request! This one is for 105northtower, asking about Knight of Heart.

Heart indicates personality and individuality along with romance and emotions.

Knights are insecure about their Aspect, and craft an Aspect-related persona to cover it up.

A Knight of Heart would feel insecure about their sense of identity... which pretty much just sums up being a teenager, doesn’t it?

You know that guy who sorta hangs out on the fringes of those counter-culture cliques, like the goths or the geeks or the hipsters? He technically wears the right clothes, knows the right stuff, and would really really like to get involved in the community, but... he doesn’t quite fit in? He the guy who tries talking X-Men with the comic book nerds after watching the movies, or hangs out at Starbucks and wears a scarf to try and fit in with the hipsters. That’s the Knight of Heart.

The Knight of Heart desperately wants to be interesting. They want to be recognized as a unique individual. They love in-jokes, something that is special and shared between two people. Relationships are important to them, especially romantic ones, because that means they are recognized as somebody you want to spend time with above other people and that. That just makes their day. The fastest way to a Knight of Heart’s... heart is to remember their interests. If you say “hey, KoH, I saw this thing and I know you like things so I thought of you”, or better yet “Hey KoH I had a question about this topic, and I know you know a lot about this topic, can you help me out?” they will be. SO. THRILLED. You don’t even know.

It’s hard to say what exactly the Knight would be like under the armor - Heart is the Aspect of Individuality, after all. Chances are they have a few special interests that they are sort of low-key interested in, and they would be ecstatic to share them if someone showed interest. 

Once the Knight grows up a bit and learns to integrate his armor with his personality better, he’s likely to grow up into one of those people who fits in basically everywhere. A social chameleon, the full realized Knight excels at filling in for missing roles in a team. Friendly, gregarious, and helpful to the extreme, the Knight of Heart is happy to be all things to all people.

...Wow that personality analysis sure went on, huh? Didn’t mean for this to get so long. Let’s talk powers!

Knights arm themselves with their Aspect.

Heart gives power over the soul.

A Knight of Heart arms themselves with their own soul. That’s... weirdly deep. Feel like there’s a poem in there somewhere.

Knights have very varied powers, and Heart is a very individual Aspect, so there’s a lot of potential here. However, my first reflex is that the Knight can harness the power of their own soul as a sort of psuedo Ki energy. In this case, they’d be able to create shields and weapons out of their own inner energy. Their emotions would have a heavy impact on this power - if they’re feeling uncertain, their power would peter out, but confidence makes it roar with power. Their interests and personality would also influence the exact manifestation - I can’t get this image out of my head of a Knight of Heart who’s really into entomology manifesting insect body parts out of their own soul to fight with.

Their full realization power would be pretty simple, actually. When their own energy is running out, they can call for aid from their friends and loved ones, allowing them to provide energy to the flagging Knight. Heart has a lot to do with relationships and bonds, though not to the level of Blood, and so a strong relationship would allow more energy to be contributed.

That’s right. Knights of Heart can pull off a Spirit Bomb. How’s that for awesome?

2) Do they have a fear of an animal? If so, what animal? - I feel like...... Fish wouldn’t like horses......... they Do Not Trust them.........

3) What do they wear to bed? - they probably just snuggle up in one of E-K’s coats really. 

5) Do they have a secret handshake with anyone? - not really

7) Do they like chocolate? - Fish used to live alone in the wild, before E-K found them and adopted them, so before E-K took them in they’d never eaten anything other than like. snails and fish and leaves and berries. so the first time they ate chocolate was........... intense. they LOVE chocolate, but E-K doesn’t let them eat too much at a time because otherwise they just go on the worlds biggest sugar-high

11) What is their favourite room to be in, in the house they live in? - well...... Fish lives with E-K, and E-K is a homeless traveller who just kinda wanders the world camping out or staying with friends and stuff. i guess their favourite “room” so to speak would be E-K’s hammock? they like the swinging

13) Can they do magic? - nope

17) Do they have a best friend? If so, who, and what makes them their best friend? - E-K!! he’s their best friend/adopted dad. E-K found this feral baby goblin being chased by some humans and immediately had to adopt them. E-K was the first really nice person Fish met, and they’re eternally grateful to him (although Fish is too young to put it in that many words lol, if you asked them they’d just say they like his hair or something probably)

19) What does their relationship with their family look like? Are they close? Distant? Ect. - Fish got separated from their real family when they were really young, only like 3 or 4, and they were alone for almost a year before E-K found them (main timeline Fish is 5). Fish doesn’t really remember much about their real family, but E-K is like family to them, so they don’t really mind

23) How do they usually wear their hair? - loose. their hair is just a rats nest of curls and knots. E-K does his best to take care of it, but he’s not exactly a trained hair-dresser lol.

29) Do they wants kids? If they already have kids, do they want more? - Fish is too young to think about wanting kids, they’re just a kid themself

31) Do they know how to drive? - absolutely not

37) What is their favorite gif? - 

41) What is their favourite breed of dog? - all dogs. good dogs best friends

43) Where is their dream vacation? - the beach! Fish doesn’t really know how to swim yet (kinda ironic considering their namesake), but they love the beach and the ocean

47) If the world were to end in 24 hours, where would they be and who would they be with? - i feel like they’d just wanna spend time with E-K, maybe curled up on his chest while he sings to them and runs his fingers through their hair. 

53) What is something that they want but can’t have? - Fish really wants to give into their goblin instincts and collect stuff (coins, cool rocks, seashells, feathers, etc), but because they travel with E-K they can’t really collect too much. E-K gave them their own little bag that they can carry stuff around in, but they sometimes have to go through it and pick what they do and don’t want to keep

59) What is their favourite song? - 

they like to listen to E-K play this on his guitar for them~

61) What is their favourite book? - Fish can’t read and E-K doesn’t carry many books around with him, but he does tell Fish stories at night, making them up or telling Fish about people he’s met/things he’s seen/done while travelling. they’re favourite story is the one about the time he met the love of his life a guy who could see ghosts!

67) What is something that is simple, but always makes them smile? - fresh baked bread

71) Who is their ride or die? - E-K

73) What attracts them to another person? - i’m gonna use attract as in what makes them interested in people, rather than romantic attraction, since Fish is a little kid - they like tall people, or people with really interesting distinguishing features. people with colourful clothing or cool pets. people with food, or people who are laughing, or people who are alone and sad. Travelling with E-K, Fish meets all sorts of people (E-K’s been travelling a long time, so he has friends all over the place and always knows someone, wherever he goes).

79) What object to the care for the most? - their prized possessions are their red bandana, and an old doorknob they found while still living alone.

83) What is something that they are good at? - finding bugs to eat
