Have you heard of liquorish all sorts? We had weather all sorts today. Every time I stepped foot out the office door it started to drizzle. The sun still shone though but the wind was strong and bitter. The colours of autumn are really starting to show. The trees look beautiful.
It was a beautiful morning to bike to work today. I had to stop and take a picture of the sun rising over the river and watch the rowers training for their next regatta. It was 30ºC at the hottest part of the day which I think was when we went for our 10@2 a ten minute walk around the block. After a busy day at the office I jumped back on the bike and rode to Mum's place. Mum does not like the heat but then she does not like the cold! The traffic was crazy on the way to Mum's so I decided to try another route home. I got slightly lost so did an extra kilometre or two on the homeward leg. I did manage to dodge the traffic, mostly. It is still hot this evening so a walk to the beach was a must do. It was lovely. By the time we walked down the beach and back a sea fog was forming and created an eerie light as the sun set. Beautiful. I had done so much walking, riding and step counting today my phone has gone flat, I feel a little the same way. Enough of my rambling on about nothing. Hope you had a good day and managed to get out there and have some fun.
Is that rain on the roof? Yes it is! There was rain on the roof as I ate my breakfast. It rained all over me when I went to buy sushi for lunch. It was drizzling as I walked to Mum's place. There were zero children in the playground and Queen Victoria was watching over her square in the rain. Good thing it was a tiny gym day then.
Along with the rainbows in the sky there were some pretty cool sand sculptures on the beach tonight. The sunset was pretty cool too.
I noticed a rainbow as we walked down to the beach this evening. We had showers off and on all afternoon so it was no surprise really. It was much prettier than the pictures show. I have never see a rainbow at the beach before. Beautiful.
We walked around the Wetlands this evening. I had Physio this afternoon and my leg was feeling slightly odd so the Wetlands tracks were a better option than the sandy beach. I have not been in the Wetlands for a while and with all the rain we have had it is the wettest I have seen it. Water and water fowl everywhere and a beautiful sunset over the water to end the day.
I fell asleep in my comfy chair after dinner tonight. I was tired from a busy week at work. My sore knee and shoulder and a nasty eczema flare have taken their toll too. It is little wonder that I fell asleep in my comfy chair tonight. We still went for a walk to the beach to get some fresh air. We took it pretty easy stopping to watch the rabbits feeding and the ducks in the pond along the way. Bring on the weekend I say.
Active day with workouts, progress, and enjoyable meals. Success! Day 55 was a blur!
