I encountered a computational impossibility today.
When I transfer photos from my iPhone to my laptop, they arrive as HEIF files which I cannot drop into discord and show up as an image. So I have to open them in Preview and export them as JPEGs.
Today, when I do so with one particular image, a mysterious thing happened. Even though I think I only exported it once, the JPEG file was suddenly there, in my folder, twice.
Not [file name] and [file name 2]. Twice. The same name. The same extension. Literally identical.
As far as I understand this should be impossible. When you try to save a file of the same extension and the same name in the same folder where there already is one, the system alerts you and asks if you want to replace it.
But there it was. The same file. Twice.
And I have no explanation for this.

Kınından çıkmış kılıç gibiyiz. Güçlü devlet, üreten millet için göreve hazırız. Büyük Devrimci Önderimiz Atatürk gibi yapacağız. Önümüzdeki zorlukları 19 Mayıs'ın kararlılık ve cesaretiyle aşacağız. Devletin temel kurumlarını İstiklâl Savaşımızın değerleri üzerinde yeniden inşa edeceğiz!
happy birthday to me :D
