i keep seeing people say that in the original script/concept for the tmnt 2003 episode Good Genes it was supposed to be mikey that got mutated instead of donny but i can’t find anything official saying that? does anyone have like. a source for that claim

Ok, I Love smart mikey.
Yeah, i get hes a little behind and silly and goofy guy, but I really dont think hes an idiot? I think my favourite mikey depiction so far is IDW mikey. He might not be super smart like the others, but his smarts is more with his empathy and ability to understand others. Much better than his brothers, but hes also not depicted as an Idiot.
I struggle so much with watching the 2012 mikey because hes so dumb that it makes it hard to believe hes competent. But then he does insanely smart stuff randomly which honestly makes me think his dumb persona is some sort fo act because how on gods green earth is he capable of doing some of the smart stuff he does otherwise?
Im slowly getting into the 2003, which so far mikey isnt hard to watch with his silliness thank god. And other versions like rise I haven't got much to say because hes on the same level as the rest of his brothers for the comedic hijinks. I still need to finish tales of the tmnt, but so far I Love mikey in it, hes sweet and isnt an idiot there either!
I love smart mikey, I love it when hes written smart. Not some brainiac or anything, just smart enough to manage on his own. Ya know? I dont need him to be some sort of mastermind or anything like that to enjoy him, I just want him to be able to figure stuff out on his own. Yo be competent.
