Amy Chelsea Stacie Dee by Mary G Thompson
I’m about halfway through and I like it. It’s interesting and a quick read. Basic premise is a girl returns from being kidnapped for six years, without her cousin who was kidnapped with her. What happened while she was gone? Why won’t she talk about it?
ETA: seeing as this talks about the MC's kidnapping, there are some trigger warnings. Feel free to message me about them because they're also kind of spoilery...
Review Camilla Läckberg “The Witch”
Hey, my dear followers. I am madly in love with reading books, so I came up with an idea to write reviews of ones I have read.
About the book in few sentences from official webside of the author: “Tragic memories are brought to life when four-year-old Linnea disappears from a farm outside Fjällbacka. Thirty years earlier a little girl disappeared from exactly the same farm and was later found murdered. That time, two thirteen year old girls were accused of abducting and killing the girl.”
“The Witch” was published in year 2017 and is the most recent book from Camilla Läckberg. First what can be seen is parting the book in three different stories, and if two of them seem to have something in common from the beginning, the third one is seemingly not connected at all. And it’s like that to the very end. The main story is full of various plots, that happen to be more and more connected with each other and complicated in the process of reading. It’s not only a crime story. It tells also about different things, like love of characters, growth one but also the first one, their lives, and how cruel can teenagers be. The author plaited as well a political situation - plot of refugees and how they are seen in Sweden. The length of book and various plots can not be interessant for everyone. For someones it can be even boring (like for my mom :D), but for me it was absorbing and it kept me in tension, so I had to know how it would continue and what tracks the police would find. I recommend “The Witch” to all of you. For me reading that book was really pleasant.
My adventure with Camilla Läckberg books I began couple years ago. My first one was “The Hidden Child” and if this series was liked by you, I will review it with pleasure too ;)
Let me know what do you think about such series, if I had some comments or likes, I will surely continue it ;)

The Bear and the Nightingale - Book Review
The Bear and the Nightingale – Book Review
Title: The Bear and the Nightingale Author: Katherine Arden Rating: 3/5 Genre: Fantasy, Young Adult, Romance, Gothic Literature, Russian Literature, Fairytale. As I think I’ve said before, I’m a sucker for anything Russian based. I love the history of this vast country, and it’s true that within history comes different cultures and tales. And the mythos around Russian folklore is just so far…

Я устаю и действительно хочу спать, но не могу уснуть. can u save ma heavydirtysoul? for me
Most Anticipated Release of 2017
I am a little late jumping onto the bandwagon, but between planning my wedding that is happening tomorrow, and working a part time job things have been pretty hectic where I live. That doesn’t matter however; the important thing is that I am here, and it is officially 2017!
With the start of a new year, it means that there is a whole slew of new books just waiting for us to dive into them and soak up the story waiting there. Now most of these are sequels to books that were released last year (so no debuts here), but that just makes me even more excited for them!
1) The End of Oz by Danielle Paige — March 14th
This is the fourth and final book in the Dorothy Must Die series. Dorothy Must Die is a series that I have been following since it first came out, and was surprised when I heard that there was a fourth book, since I was originally lead to believe that this would be a trilogy. I absolutely love Amy, and following her journey and I definitely can’t wait to see how it all ends.
2) The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan — May 2nd
Another series continuation, this one for The Trails of Apollo which debuted early last year. In this series Rick Riordan goes back to his roots and we once again find ourselves at Camp Half-Blood following the story of Apollo who has been punished by Zeus and turned into a 16 year old human. The first book in the series The Hidden Oracle was absolutely amazing, but I will warn that there are spoilers for the ending of The Heroes of Olympus, so if you haven’t read that series I would recommend checking it out first.
3) Origin by Dan Brown — September 26th
This book in particular was a complete surprise to me, and it was just lucky enough that I happened to check out Dan Brown’s Goodreads page, or I would have completely missed this! Origins is the fifth book in the Robert Langdon Series which also includes Angels and Demons, The DaVinic Code, The Lost Symbol, and Inferno. I adore the mix of arcane and thriller mystery and after waiting over 3 years for this book to come out, it can’t come soon enough.
4) The Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan — October 3rd
Yes, another Rick Riordan book, but what can I say he is my favorite author after all. The Ship of the Dead is the third book in the Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asguard series with the first two book being The Sword of Summer and The Hammer of Thor. This has been an excellent series so far, and I can not wait for this next book to come out.
5) The Saviour’s Champion by Jenna Moreci — Release date unknown
Jenna Moreci is a popular Youtuber and blogger who gives out writing advice. Her debut novel Eve the Awakening was released back in 2015, and I absolutely loved it. The Savior’s Champion is a different beast all together, being an adult fantasy that centers around a tournament where a number of men compete in a blood bath for the princess’s hand in marriage. The premise sounds right up my alley, and I can’t wait to read more from this highly under appreciated author.
There you have it, the five books that I am most excited for this year. What books are you all excited for?
Hope you enjoyed my first post here on Tumblr and I will be back soon!
