Through the Woods (I don’t know the author, it’s across the room right now and I don’t want to check) 

Magnus Chase and The Ship of the Dead (again, not sure of the title, but it’s the third one) 

The Chemist by Stephanie Meyer (I just got it from the online library and the hold took forever so I’m not waiting again)

2017 TBR List

I was tagged by @the-forest-library and @all-these-paperback-dreams!

Sometimes I make lists of books I want to read next, but my mood inevitably changes before I get to any of them, so I’ve kind of given up on trying to make tbr lists. I rarely choose which book I want to read before I’ve finished the last one. 

That being said, the books I know I definitely want to read by the end of the year (for now at least) are:

The Bear and the Nightingale by  Katherine Arden 

and 

North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. 

I should probably just go ahead and read Odd and the Frost Giants by Neil Gaiman too, since it seems seasonally appropriate and it’s short.

1. Shadowhouse Falls by Daniel Jose Older (I need to re-read the last couple chapters of Shadowshaper and then dive in. This is my absolute must read in December). 

2. The Art of Starving by Sam J Miller. (This sounds so interesting and intense, so I need to get on that ASAP)

3. The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee (this is a Tome Topple goal, hopefully I’ll see it through)

4. American Panda by Gloria Chao (most anticipated read for 2018, got lucky with an arc)

5. The Obelisk Gate by N K Jemisin (with the way The Fifth Season is going, I’m gonna need to continue this series stat)

That’s all I have for right now. Three of those are audiobooks so they won’t take that long... I might try to finish the second Wheel of Time book? I want something cozy to read over Christmas and New Years but I haven’t figured out what exactly yet.
