As June comes to a close the signs of pride month will disappear from many places, but that doesn't mean pride ends. There is so much left to do for the equity of the community. Just because the month is over doesn't mean the pride has to end!
(and before anyone has something to say about our little wearing the asexual pride flag, it is something he himself identifies with. He may be a little but has been around for over thirty years and knows enough about s*x to know that he doesn't want it. If the label makes him happy and seen, then we won't stop him from identifying with it.)

Panel 1: There is a calander with the month of June, all of the days up until the 27th is crossed out in red. Kyra's hand holds the pen. She says "Well, the end of pride month is here."
Panel 2: Kyra is packing up a rainbow pride flag into a cardboard box. Ian is watching. Kyra says "Guess I should pack this up." to which Ian asks "But why though?", she responds "So they'll be ready for next year's pride."
Panel 3: Ian holds up an asexual pride flag and says "But...do we have to? This flag makes me feel happy and seen. I'm not ready to hide it away."
Panel 4: The box is now overturned, Ian and Kyra are now walking with their flags (Ian with an asexual flag, and Kyra has an all-inclusive pride flag) draped over their shoulders. Kyra says "You're right. Pride month may be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean our pride should end." Ian excitedly says "There's still so much to do!"

I'm very...confused as to why my country
a)has laws that ban "unholy behavior" because apparently we are gods but these law refers to masculine presenting people and feminine presenting people, which you can get jail time for.
b)LGBTQ+ we are still pretty much illegal here. I'm literally a criminal. "Oh but no one prosecutes you" yeah but i can't kiss a girl that i like for fear i may be in handcuffs or worse r**** to "teach me how to be a woman".
BUT i guess as my "friend" said i should be happy 🥺🥺🥺🥺🙄🙄🙄we have a "Sexual Diversity Week" which is lame way to say Pride Week. They've been doing it for 3 years now, and it's a weak move to say "we are making progress" but generally speaking we are not. Trans people here still are forced to undergo "therapy" a lot of my friends can't even talk about it so I guess it's not pretty good. Lesbians, Gays, Bis and Queer folk in general can be beaten, harassed and assaulted with no consequence to the agresor.
But hey. At least we have a week. 🖕🏽
