A small retrospective
Feeling like I would do well to look back and appreciate my progress today. As a whole, not just in bits of weeks or months. So. Today, compared to exactly 10 months ago, I am:
32.3kg (71.2 lbs) lighter
11.2 fat percentage points down!
9.8 BMI points down (it's hardly an ideal measure, but it puts it in the perspective with my height a bit)
getting 15k steps per day, where I barely bothered to move before
sustaining a pretty solid stretching and workout routine - nothing big, but enough for me from 10 months ago to be damn impressed
(since very recently, but still) starting to include some interval running to my routine and dreaming of being able to actually run at some point in the future
only consuming alcohol on rare and controlled occasions
sleeping SO much better (my fitbit promoted me from Dolphin to Parrot after May. I'm hardly Bear-level yet, but I'm getting closer!)
living in my own apartment again and enjoying the freedom and privacy
having steadier moods in general - still have some lows, but the scale of it is just completely different
living like 97% vegetarian
enjoying being seen as opposed to trying to hide away from both people I know AND don't know all the time
generally at a MUCH better place
If I can more or less sustain this further (and I feel like I will) and, perhaps, finally figure myself out in the professional capacity... I feel like I will have something pretty dang good, actually.
