2 days past ovulation.

I already took a pregnancy test.

I HAVE A FUCKING PROBLEM!

BFN obviously.

2dpo. I doubt it's related to our recent Artificial Insemination adventure considering as it's only been 2.5 days. But I was craving something sweet tonight. And my partner thought I was crazy when I requested ice cream and oreos.

Doing much better today - got to talk to doc yesterday and it's comforting that my entire care team is going "no seriously, what thE FUCK medicaid" about the asinine authorizations or lack thereof.

medicaid went from "alternative portable drains denied," to "denied because there was no graft," to "denied because although there were grafts, there's 100 people waiting for vacuum authorization and you can't skip the queue."

baffling, enraging, inexplicable fuckery.

But my doc put in an order for IV benadryl so I was finally able to sleep last night - a whole nine hours!!! And my nurses skipped a vitals check so I could have six in a row uninterrrupted.

And I get to go walk outside whenever I want.

Biologist report 2 dpo

Both fertilised eggs have developed into an embryo and are still in the running to become V and M’s next top baby :). The next checkpoint is on Monday, which is day 5. I was wrong before thinking that today is day 3 but it’s not as of course egg retrieval day is Day 0 DPO, not 1, so today is 2 DPO. So it’s early days, it can still all go wrong. But this is better than nothing.

My prenatals are literally bigger than any other pill I have to take if not bigger than all of them combined!

Cramps. But not like cramps. Dunno. Could be the real deal or could be my imagination.

Starting to freak out a little bit...

So tomorrow morning bright and early, I get to go into my dentist’s office and have some dental surgery, yay! *sarcasm* Luckily I’ll be doing conscious sedation, since it’s going to take a few hours… But I’m really worried if the meds they’re giving me could be dangerous…. Because of ttc, I’m hoping it would be too early to have any effect, but I did ovulate yesterday, and we’ve been following the SMEPlan pretty well this month, probably going to get in one more tonight….

But yeah, if you know anything about how benzodiazepines and a really strong prescription antihistamine (no idea why they use that in sedation, but Benadryl can knock my butt out), and how it would affect conception at 2 days past ovulation…. Let me know!
