I like 03!Karai, idk why but she just stands out in my mind if I thought about the name Karai. And the first time drawing her as well and boy it was hard to find a good reference for her eye color that isn't a pixel mess. There might be some mistakes but eh

[head in hands] you know what guys. You know what. I want Karai and Leo to hang out after the show is over. Just like. They occasionally hang out just before sunrise and probably just sword fight because neither of them is rlly good at communication tbh. So they just fight and they talk and it’s like
“so how goes it with your family?”
“Oh, well, Donnie and April are attending an online scientist conference in a few days.”
“Oh THE scientist conference?”
“I take it Dr. Chaplin’s gonna be there too then?”
“Yeah! I’ll tell him to say hi.”
Like I think they hurt each other a lot in the past and especially Karai probably carries a lot of guilt when she starts recovering from the fucked up mentality of working under Shredder for years, so of course they’re not normal about it. Of course they randomly fight each other on the rooftops of New York. And they watch the sun rise and sometimes one of them brings coffee or snacks to share.
