as for the twins' mask selection, that was all Splinter. i think it was probably the last big "fatherly" thing he did before allowing his three sons to take the helm on raising two tiny turtles.

TMayNT Day 26: Favorite Series

Day 26 of @tmaynt Prompt: Favorite Series!

I feel like this doesn't need to be said, given what most of my prompt images have been about, but I'll say it anyway! 2003 is my top favorite series! It was the version that got me into the TMNT franchise as a whole, has helped shape me as both an artist and as a person, and helped me through times of high stress were I was so lost and had nothing looking up for me!

I don't think I would've thought in a million years that a show about four ninja turtle brothers fighting bad guys would've ever had the impact it has on me, and yet...here I am! And here they are, still in my life! Shaping it to this day! Now when people irl think of me, they think of four things! Dragons, Art, Spyro, and TMNT. And you know what, I'm happy with that.
