the worst thing about the dashboard update is probably that Themed Posts is gone for good now, the rest is really bad but bearable with some userstyle tweaking.

And for staff's next dumb update, all text will be in Comic Sans!
A #36465D to #001935 gradient I made.
The older Tumblr background color to the updated new one.
Much darker.
Godspeed @new-xkit-extension keeping me sane on tumblr staff’s emo phase.
#36465D
The lost blue.
Bring back old Tumblr colors (UserScript)
Took me a little while to figure this out since I’m not really a JavaScript guy, but here it is!
// ==UserScript== // @name Tumblr Old Colors // @description Removes the flag-–accessibility-design-update class // @match https://*.tumblr.com/* // ==/UserScript== document.getElementsByTagName("body").item(0).classList.remove("flag--accessibility-design-update");
How to use on Chrome:
Install Tampermonkey.
Click the Tampermonkey icon on the top-right, and go to Create A New Script.
A new tab with a code editor will open. Delete everything in the text area, then copy-paste the script from above.
Press Ctrl+S.
Done! Reload any Tumblr pages you have open. 😄
How to use on Firefox:
Install Greasemonkey.
Click the Greasemonkey icon on the top-right, then New User Script. Nothing will happen. Yet.
Click the Greasemonkey icon again, you’ll see an Unnamed Script with some random numbers after it. Click it, then Edit.
A new tab with a code editor will open. Delete everything in the text area, then copy-paste the script from above.
Press Ctrl+S.
Done! Reload any Tumblr pages you have open. 😄
This is just a very quick hack. Tumblr may remove this soon. I might write a user style to solve that, but enjoy this until then! 🙃
