I started really listening to newer kpop this week since all I usually listen to is BoA (and only her older albums) and stuff like T-Ara, Fiestar, SHINee, 2NE1, SNSD, KARA, and whatnot. All of that is older gen kpop and I can confidently say I've been missing out on newer songs. Like, don't get me wrong, these groups do have similar themes but the keyword is "similar" in the sense that the differences are what makes each group special. ENYPHEN has that mature older boy type that feels like cologne in music form. LE SERRAFIM are like the cool older sisters of kpop while IVE is like that one girl in your math class thats just perfect. CORTIS are like the cool skater boy types who bring swag to each bar. Overall, I've really enjoyed the songs I've been listening to. I hope to really become a DIVE and I'm still learning the names for the other fandoms !!
