When Buck suggested it I said no at first, but he convinced me some time out of L.A. would be good. I think he’s right. I just had - well I guess it’s a confessional so I’ll tell you. I just had a really messy breakup, my fault, and my therapist suggested I try new things. Reality TV is obviously new. God why do I feel like I need to ask what my penance is?” OR In the aftermath of Chris leaving for the summer, Buck convinces Eddie they should apply for Love Island together.
My thoughts:
Love it love it love it. This fanfic has two of my favorite shows 911 and Love Island. Eddie and Buck are so in love that it is hilariously infuriating, but you will root for them no matter what. They are the best couple next to Maria and Maya, of course. There is feelings, there is challenges, there is character development, there is a little bit of angst, and there is absolutely perfection. The confessionals add so much insight to the fanfic, and all the tweets are absolutely hilarious. Definitely will reread when feeling like I need love and laugh.
