Okay this may take a couple posts but @agl03 i saw one of your asks lookong for photos of Coulson's flashbacks and i figured the fandom would want them too.
Girl, I really and truly need to know your thoughts when you watch 5x12...
Okay, here we go!
I was so bored, for too much of it. There’s always so much PLOT! and ever since series 1, usually only 20% ever interests me at any one time. This is a problem I’ve always had with the show, though.
I like Liam and Hayden, but they took up too much screen time for my liking.
I’m biding my time, waiting for Theo to die.
I’m in love with Mason.
I felt bitter that Stiles got to have that touching family talk with his dad, although I actually really liked it, because we haven’t been shown the scenes that apparently exist between Scott and his mom. (I did like the talk, though. I like when the sheriff isn’t terrible. They screwed him over so badly in 5a, just like everyone else.)
I felt like Stiles still didn’t show enough remorse or care in regards to his best friend. I’m incredibly annoyed it was framed as Stiles needing to forgive Scott. I can’t believe he didn’t say sorry once. (I mean. I can believe it. Of course I can. This show is fucking atrocious when it comes to follow-through. It’s more that I hate that he hasn’t.)
But, of course, I liked when Scott was shirtless and Stiles a) got to see how bad his injury looked, b) how Stiles looked at Scott fondly. How Scott looked fondly at Stiles. That was important for me.
I liked when Stiles saw the struggle Scott was having with the metal crate and how he helped him. I really wanted to have more of that, of Stiles acknowledging it.
The comedy part with the pack symbol was cute, not gonna lie. That was the dickish side of Stiles I don’t really mind, and in fact, you know, like. Also, it was like a reaffirmation of love, which is sweet.
But I can’t help thinking that the actions are okay, they’re definitely a step in the right direction, but in this case there needs to be words. Love isn’t always enough. The imbalance between Scott and Stiles doesn’t sit right with me. We still ended the episode with Scott having to prop Stiles up and I’m kind of completely and utterly sick of it? The whole episode was Stiles extending an olive branch because he needs Scott’s help - and Scott being thankful for being wanted for his services - and do the writers seriously not realize how fucked up that is?
I think I’ll watch another episode, though. I didn’t hate it as much as 5.11.
I've been planing on watching Homeland for a while now but never really got around to it. The main reason I wanted to watch the show was because of a GIF set of Quinn, that I happened upon. Since then I have kept tabs on the show without seeing too many spoilers and checking the Peter x Carrie tag once in a while. Before the finale aired, I told myself that I would try to completely avoid any spoilers...but I just couldn't do it. So, about 10 minutes ago, I came on Tumblr to check the Homeland tag and let me tell you, I AM FUCKING DEVASTED! I can't even begin to imagine how all of you guys, who have actually been watching the show faithfully, feel!! Especially the Quinn stans! And the LETTER!! DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE BLOODY LETTER! I read it once and started balling my eyes out! Considering what I know now about Quinn's fate, I don't know if I should even watch the show...
