okay, so i'm new, and just watched season 1. now i'm on season 2 and this is already killing me. how have you all survived seven years of this tension

everyone talks about the first scene with eddie changing, what a man etc, and buck's reaction, but what gets me is how INSTANT the obsession is - for example, in the gym just a little while later buck sees eddie in the mirror walking in:

then he immediately goes to grab more weights. (not that he's trying to impress anyone)

chim immediately clocks what buck is doing:

...and then catches buck looking over at eddie as he walks by...

...and then gets this look on his face. i like thinking it's because he's both a) blown away by the obvious tension, and b) thinks it's hilarious

buck is still looking over at eddie btw. eddie's in his head

but what really sends me is how as soon as buck gets the selfie stick out, eddie IMMEDIATELY turns around, like. the Awareness of each other

like. eddie you were watching. they're watching each other. i see you both

then buck gives what i feel is the most unconvincing reason for his "problem" - eddie came in and made friends with people? buck baby i can already tell that attitude doesn't match your personality? i'm begging you to self-reflect here and figure out what the actual issue is

but eddie masterfully deescalates the situation and sets them on the path to being friends. he doesn't want to fight. i see you both
