There is no ‘us and them’ when it comes to animals; only us as we all breathe the same and all bleed the same. _ People often wonder why I devote so much time to animals but I wonder why they don’t. Why wouldn’t we be a voice for sentient beings who we share this Earth with when they also have eyes to see, ears to hear, hearts to beat and brains to think? When they also have the desire to live and the capacity to suffer? _ I don’t feel that humans are the superior species. I don’t feel that other animal species are inferior. I just look into the eyes of an animal and see someONE, not someTHING and know that I should look out for them the way I would look out for my fellow humans. _ That’s why we need #AnimalRights as society treats animals as objects, property, commodities, things and resources to be used, abused, exploited and killed but they are living, breathing, thinking, feeling, sentient beings. They are us. _ Most of the chimps at these rescue centres have been saved from decades of torture in laboratories. We take away their freedom and conduct cruel tests on them to advance our species. It’s one of the most unforgivable sins Mankind is guilty of and it needs to stop. Oppressing an animal is the same as oppressing a human. Via @a_lallie_ Here are SlaveWorld Abusement Park trainers doing the #WhatTheFluffChallenge with #Orcas. _ It just makes me sad. #KillerWhales are smart, sentient, social beings trapped in a bathtub for all of their lives when they should be swimming 100 miles a day with their pods in the open ocean. _ Please #DontBuyATicket so we can #EmptyTheTanks as this is wrong. That they don’t feel or process emotions the way humans do. That science tells us that whenever animals ‘cry’ or ‘shed tears’ or ‘water spills from their eyes’ it’s ONLY because they have an irritant in their eye etc. _ However this video and many others disprove that. Watch the end of this video. She is CRYING. She doesn’t just happen to have a grain of sand or dirt in her eye at the exact same moment that her deceased baby lies in front of her, which is what every person blinded by ‘science’ would say. _ Science is refuted all the time. What does your heart tell you? Stop believing the LIES of the very industries that want us to think of animals as unthinking, unfeeling beings. This is what you're really paying for. It takes up to 30 minutes for these babies to die 😢 . A lot of people understand #Vegetarians for not eating #Meat but oddly think #Vegans are 'extreme' for also ditching the #Dairy and #Eggs. No. The dairy industry killing male #Calves because they can't produce #Milk and the #Egg industry killing male #Chicks because they can't lay eggs for human consumption is extreme whereas vegans are EXTREMEly compassionate. These babies are killed by the thousands daily worldwide. Methods include throwing them into macerators and shredding them alive, suffocating them in trash bags, gassing them in gas chambers, drowning them in barrels of water or dumping them in rivers so that fish can eat them alive 💔 . Their friendship truly bridged the gap between humans and animals and showed us how we’re far more alike than we are different. Koko first met Robin in 2001 and he made her smile for the first time in over six months. When Robin sadly passed in 2014, Koko was told the heartbreaking news and signed ‘cry’ 😢 .
