TGR made it clear that Tetsuji was pretty much against women in Exy, or at the very least thought they were lesser players (why else would he "never approve" a female captain?)
But what does that mean about Kayleigh? She helped him create the sport, but did he resent her all along? Did he think she wasn't good enough on court? Or that she couldn't lead? Was it that she had proved herself to him, but that still meant that every girl had to too?
More importantly: did Kevin know?
