So I had absolutely THE best day ever yesterday during my day of adventuring around Cardiff Bay with one of my favourite people, my truly awesome mate @bluebirdccfc94 😁❤️ I’m feeling incredibly grateful for such an amazing day.... These days my life is full of so much joy, I often feel like I’m overflowing with it, like I could burst with happiness! This is partly down to all the fun things I’m getting to do, and all the adventures I’m having, but it’s mostly down to having some truly incredible people in my life 💖 and one of those incredible people is Tom 😁❤️ One of the reasons I love Tom is that he’s just so chilled out and easygoing; spending time with him is as easy as breathing (possibly easier, given my sometimes shitty breathing 😂!). He’s such a laugh; we have some epic banter! He’s also super kind. And no matter what we do, we have fun! It’s also really important I think for both of us to have such a good friend who understands life as a palliative care person, and all that entails. It’s often seemingly little things; like that Tom never gets annoyed when I text/ring my mum to check in, because he does the same! He understands our mums worry, and why. Yesterday we had a whole conversation about ableism we experience, and how much it pisses us off. I love that we can talk about these things, that I have a friend who Gets It. I’m especially grateful to Tom for the friendship and support I’ve received since me and my Ex broke up. As much as the break up was 100% the right thing, it was also really hard, and I felt really lonely at first.
