I have acquired my pull list, so it’s time for me to review some more comics! Spoilers ahead for Absolute Batman #19 and Absolute Green Lantern #13!
Absolute Batman #19 - This was a good start to the new arc. This new Scarecrow is really intimidating so far and I love his look. I didn’t expect Gordon to die, so I’m interested to see where that goes. I like what we’re getting with Bruce isolating himself from Waylon. The issue ends with the introduction to the Robin’s and I’m interested to see what we get with them in the coming issues. I also really like that Slade’s classic look is prosthetics he puts on, it’s a really fun idea. This was a good first issue for this new arc and I’m interested to see where it goes!
Absolute Green Lantern #13 - This series continues to be the one I enjoy the least. I still enjoy this series and this issue, I like seeing the cosmic side of this universe, but this issue wasn’t as good as the Absolute Batman one. Though, I am interested to see where this space arc goes, and I’m especially interested to see more of this universes Sinestro. I feel like this series brings in a lot of non-GL characters and elements, which makes it feel different from the other books which generally stick to their corners of the universe (with the exception of Absolute Superman including some Batman stuff with the Lazarus stuff). This leads to this issue focusing on characters who aren’t usually GL related, but with a Blackstar twist, which doesn’t feel quite as compelling as some of the other books. As I said, I’m still interested in seeing where this space arc goes, but this series is still the weakest Absolute title for me.

Bad choice of words?
