Just rewatched the Monks trilogy last night and. HECK. Moffat really pulled out all the stops for those episodes, didn’t he?? Every character is pushed to their extreme limits, things keep getting worse and worse and worse until you can’t imagine how it’s going to get better, there’s so much heart and emotion you feel like you’re getting punched in the gut a thousand times—it’s seriously one of the most gripping Doctor Who storylines ever written imo

I can’t get over how beautiful this story is 🥲🤍🥹 I swear it’s healing the little broken pieces inside me one word at a time! I’m *not* a crier at all but I’ve sobbed my way through some of these chapters, it’s just stunning. The world building, the comfort, the LOVE - it’s such a favourite already and I haven’t even finished 🥲
