Farm style #accidentalvegan Teryaki Tofu Stirfry in a flash. Picked some snap peas, purple cauliflower, shallots, kale, fava beans and celery leaves. Googled a Teryaki sauce recipe and started an easy recipe simmering in a saucepan. Washed and prepped the veggies and got the shallots and celery sautéing in a skillet. Cut extra firm tofu into cubes and put it in the air fryer. No oil needed. Found some Trader Joe’s quick cooking brown basmati rice and started that in the rice cooker. I had some pineapple (only veggie not from our garden) leftover in a fruit salad and threw that into the simmering sauce. I added shelled fava beans and then cauliflower to the skillet. Once the tofu and rice were done and waiting patiently in their gadgets I added the snow peas, kale and some diced shallot tops to the skillet, just barely cooking them. Lastly I added the tofu and sauce to the skillet and stirred to coat. As @blackmarketpearls Fred S would say, “et voila”!
