Long day. But I made $25 tutoring. Made a deal with my new accountabilibuddy @fromtwistedtotiny about food tomorrow. Me- no cheese or sodas. Her- no ice cream or potatoes. It's on.

Hey everyone, my friend @fromtwistedtotiny is having a real rough mental day on her weight-loss journey. I think we could all benefit from sharing a couple of struggles we have had and overcome or maybe even just a motivational quote.

5 Day Challenge
So. I don’t have many followers and I don’t have anything to offer for anyone that wants to participate except for my encouragement and support. But I could really use some friends and accountability on my fitness journey, so I would like to share my 5 Day Challenge for myself and welcome others to join if they would like. Day 1: Monday 4/17 - Have a vegetable with every meal. - Avoid your biggest food temptation (perhaps this is an energy drink or candy). Day 2: Tuesday 4/18 - Drink your weight (kg) or more in water. - If you have a step counter: multiply your normal goal by 1.5 and make this new goal. - If you don’t have a step counter: go on an extra walk with your dog, kids, friends, or iPod and just enjoy the refreshing time. Day 3: Wednesday 4/19 - Log all your food for the day and evaluate its value for your body - Go to bed early enough to get 8 hours of sleep. Day 4: Thursday 4/20 - Tell at least two loved ones that you appreciate them and why. - Take a picture of something beautiful you saw outside (even just 30 minutes of sun a day can help fight negative thoughts). Day 5: Friday 4/21 - Push yourself further in your workout (maybe 20 minutes on the treadmill instead of 15). - Take a selfie and tell me something you really love about yourself. I believe in all of you and I hope you are doing well on your mental/physical health journey. We can do it!
