Replenishing my mind and soul from a weekend that utilized some of my favorite talents and left me happily exhausted. I love the talents that God created in me. They are truly my joys and blessings wrapped in one. By the way it’s ok to admit we have talents. And to acknowledge our skills and to use them. God created them in each of us. When we can see this the opportunities and joys are limitless. So tonight I’m enjoying a hot cup of soup, sitting&knitting, catching up on hydration and AC lol. Happy Sunday evening friends. #sitandknitforabit #talents #creativity #dowhatyoulove #calledtoserve #knitting #ilovegreen #wool #exhausted #truejoy #agoodday #celebrationoflife #hellofriends #guthealthjourney #guthealthmatters #achesandpains (at Salem, Oregon) https://www.instagram.com/p/CfSut_FFZlm/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Muscles play an essential role in our body, giving movement and maintaining posture. Muscles contain numerous muscle strands, which determine their strength. When subjected to excessive stress, exposure to cold drafts, or inadequate training, muscles may become strained or experience aches and pains. Injuries may present as tightness, cramps, or sore muscles, and can be caused by various internal factors such as mineral imbalances, spinal misalignment, circulatory disorders, or rheumatic diseases. Stress and emotional issues may also contribute to these symptoms. Fortunately, numerous naturopathic treatments can help alleviate muscle pain. Natural Treatments for Muscle Pain Relief:Rosemary Bath: A rosemary bath can help ease muscle pain caused by overexertion, contusions, or sprains. To prepare a rosemary bath, boil 3 oz. of dried rosemary leaves in 2 qt. of water for 5 minutes, then steep for 20 minutes. Soak the affected area for 15 minutes to achieve the best results. Kneipp Affusions, Baths, and Massages: Kneipp affusions, baths, and massages can provide relief for aching muscles. Incorporating gentle muscle training, such as stretching, and making slight dietary adjustments may also be beneficial. Heat applications, mineral preparations, herbal teas, and liniments have been effective in alleviating pain for some individuals. A combination of therapies may be necessary for optimal relief. Natural Minerals: During physical activity, the body loses minerals by sweating. Eating dried fruits like apricots and bananas can help maintain potassium levels and prevent muscle cramps. For adequate magnesium intake, eat whole-grain products, nuts, potatoes, and vegetables. Oil for Muscle Cramps: Create a massage oil by mixing 5 tbsp. St. John's-wort oil, 1 tbsp. arnica oil, and 1 tsp. each of eucalyptus and rosemary oils. Gently massage the mixture into sore muscles after a workout to loosen muscles, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. Hot and Cold Treatments: During the first two days after injury, apply cold treatments to painful muscles using cold showers or ice packs to stimulate circulation and reduce swelling. Then use heat treatments like hot baths to dilate blood vessels and relax muscles. Diet and Inflammation Prevention: A diet abundant in raw or juiced fruits and vegetables can help prevent inflamed muscles. Eat at least 1 qt. of vegetable or fruit juice and 1 qt. of herbal tea daily, while avoiding meat, hard cheeses, and table salt. As toxins are taken out, inflammation will subside. Herbal Tea for Muscle Pain: Ash leaves (Fraxinus excelsior) can take away muscle pain. Boil 1 tsp. of dried leaves in 1 cup of water, then steep for 10 minutes, Tea for Muscular Rheumatism: Prepare a mixture of 2/3 oz. each of birch leaves, ash leaves, nettle green parts, and rest-harrow root, along with 1/4 oz. each of bean pods and rosehips. Steep 1 tsp. of the blend in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes, and drink 3 cups daily. Exercises for Muscle Pain Relief: Prevent calf cramps by stretching and massaging the calf muscles with oil, moving upward from the bottom toward the top. Lean against a wall with your arms out in front of you, keeping your heels on the floor, and hold for 10 seconds. Repeat the exercise 5 times.
