James pulls Regulus even closer, slipping one arm around his waist and cupping his face with the other. He’s staring right into Regulus’ eyes, gently tucking some stray hairs behind his ear. Regulus’ body is pressed tightly against James’ now; he can feel James’ hot breath on his cheek, and for a brief moment, all he can think about is closing the small distance between James’ lips and his own.

“And, cut!” the director yells. “Excellent job, guys. Tomorrow we’ll take it from here.”

Fuck. Regulus actually wanted James to kiss him, but James is only acting. That’s all they’ll ever be: scene partners.
