Here's an idea: Sephiroth, due to him being part-JENOVA, knows the languages of all the other fighters, but because Steve knows more (language options), Sephiroth has no clue what Steve says half the time.

Since Sephiroth's inclusion in Smash Bros, Mario has been not only nicer to Luigi, but actually gives our green boy the attention and care he deserves. When Luigi asked why Mario's being so nice all of a sudden, Sephiroth simply replied, "That's what a near-death experience does to a paisano."

Some of the smashers, like Link, Ness and Bowser, play Dungeons and Dragons. Almost always, Mewtwo is the Dungeon Master. If Mewtwo is unavailable, Sephiroth takes their place. Their campaign is somewhat similar to the events of World of Light.
