whats the current adamtots discourse about? im out of the loop

Ok so. Hear me out. I'm assuming anyone reading this is familiar with previous Adam tots discourse. I also think he gets unfairly harassed a lot. Also check out his blog for more info to form your own decision if you wish.

So I'm more neutral on this discourse but he drew a picture of Son)ic and pic)(achu "fucking" (no genitals shown, no real nudity because they're both already naked all the time anyway). So people are saying he should be "cancelled" or something because So(nic is 15. I think this discourse is bs because

1. son((ic's been 15 for like 25 years, I've read books in middle school with more suggestive aging than that (cough Tuck Everlasting cough)

2. it was based off a common joke a lot of people were making at the time based off the headline "son)ic tops pik/achu at the box office". No one else who made any jokes like this then except for him is getting treated badly

3. (My worst point lol) This isn't the first time he's drawn son(ic fucking and no one cared the first time

Final thoughts: I don't think the comic was in good taste but it's overall harmless and I think he's getting unfairly harassed because people in general don't seem to like him.
