How do you tell if adderall is working? My doc switched me from 10mg XR to 15mg IR and I think I'm feeling it but I'm not totally sure.

I just found this out and I’ve been taking adderall for my adhd for years,

DONT EAT FOODS THAT ARE HIGH IN CITRIC ACID OR VITAMIN C BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR ADDERALL

This includes orange juice, peppers, kale, strawberries, broccoli, kiwi, tomatoes, papayas, cantaloupe, and potatoes

These foods prevent the adderall from getting absorbed into your system, it’s basically wasting a pill!

I'm a hyper lazy ass to begin with, but does anyone else turn super lazy on their Aderrall?

I'm prescribed IR 60mg daily, but even if I take just a IR 20mg I stay the same way. I thonk tha possibly it's symptoms of Executive Dysfunction.

Any comments,hints,or ideas?

Taking 10mg Adderall IR surprisingly helps a lot. I'm guessing that's because I'm not on mood stabilizers anymore.

Taking 20mg in one day is, I think, maybe what made me start feeling close to suicidal last week (even though I still had Lithium? It probably wasn't still at a therapeutic level). I know taking XR without a mood stabilizer did that to me before.

Then again, it's only been like 4 hours, and it's gonna wear off soon, so I could still end up wanting to hurl myself in front of a train later.

I'm probably gonna have to give up Adderall completely no matter what anyway because last year's Zoloft weight gain gave me high blood pressure and now I'm dealing with an almost constant arrhythmia. Probably gonna need a whole new pill for that!
