ok so first of all. both of their names fit together perfectly which is great. dekelley and adelena.

second of all i am convinced dekker's gonna show up in tmagp in some way. please i need it. if he gets a speaking role i'm gonna freak out /pos

third of all i think the dynamic would be kind of crazy. i mean, adelard knows more about the extinction than anyone, he was the first to theorize about it, meanwhile lena knows about its manifestations and works closely with them, but it seems like she doesn't actually know about the fears themselves. i feel like they could both get a lot out of just one interaction with each other. i also feel like lena would be genuinely interested in hearing about the extinction, and i get a kick out of imagining lena being like "hmm...tell me more about your theory." and dekker just goes "oh fuck yes i've been waiting for this" and pulls out a massive folder of notes and statements. they're both so autistic. to me.

Adelena - fifth in my Ancestors of Mauritanjia project. I left her to second to last because despite Esme being a follower of her, I’ve never once been able to work out what she looks like in my head. With this I tried to aim for a motherly/older sister look and took a lot of inspiration from the diplomacy side of her. (It was hammered into Esme’s head a lot at the Gathering, okay? :P)
