When i found out "girls dont get adhd" i flipped my mind! Like i am a girl and i remember being diagnosed when i was 8! Maybe it was because i was so adhd that there were some concerns... people always questioned about me and my weird behaviors but now all doctors psycologists say that i might have autism?? My family doesnt really have that insurance and/or money for the professional diagnosis so i wont self diagnose (i take the online test alot tho and the results always come out postive)
Same anon who is a girl btw, i do show the signs of having adhd, literally no doubt, but im always a teensy bit different from other adhdiers, all my adhd friends kinda differ from me a little bit, but i dont even really think i have autism (at least i takr the professional diagnosis because i cant rely on online tests to self diagnose), maybe im a little different because im also professionaly diagnosed with ocd??? Bu i dont think that really is a change... i dont know
Oh nevermind the whole "im a little dofferent from other adhders" haha i just kinda found out the multiple types of adhd and i actually fit into the categories
1) I’m super glad you found out this stuff while I was away being a fl a ke haha
2) tbh it wasn’t until I found out there was more than one type of adhd that I realized what was going on with me? I kept reading stuff about adhd and being like ‘but that’s not really how I feel’ or ‘that’s not really relateable’ and then I found people talking about adhd-pi and I was like OH MaN BINGO????? so hey
best of luck to you, sorry i didn’t respond in a timely manner D:
