This warp has been half-sleyed (is that even a thing for rigid heddle?) for many weeks. I have finally got it onto the back beam. I'm off work again tomorrow so might actually get to weaving!

Shawl complete and in the process of being blocked! Small apartment crafting is all about knowing exactly how much floor space you have in every room.
Made with yarn from the Manos Del Uruguay Alegria line, specifically in the Waterlily color. It's hand dyed mix of Merino Superwash Wool and nylon.
I started learning how to knit approximately 6 days ago and now I've definitely gone down the ADHD new craft rabbit hole
I have yarn I bought bc it was pretty and I had another craft (tapestry weaving) I was gonna start like 10 years ago, but it's not really great to wear so now I'm wondering if I need different yarn except I'm not very good yet so why bother, but one day I will be very good because this is the one I'm sticking with, and I'll need nice yarn so what is the best yarn? Damn there's lots of types of yarn that's used for different things HOLY SHIT DID YOU KNOW YOU COULD MAKE YARN OUT OF SHEDDED BISON UNDERCOAT?! Damn do I need a bison? Nah dude, you live in a city, there's nowhere to put a bison! What else is good? Ooooh alpaca but the city thing again....
and on and on it goes
*sits down to start a new knitting project*
*gets several YouTube tutorials queued up and watches 10% of one before popping up to grab supplies*
*realizes I have no project bags in which to place the yarn balls*
*grabs yarn (no other knitting supplies tho) and half of my sewing stash plus materials for said incredibly necessary bag*
*proceeds to spend approx 5 hours hand sewing a whole new bag, including a partial lining and pockets with heart shaped holes*
ADHD crafting is a ride, had to finish everything structurally necessary to the bag tonight because it will otherwise join the crate of unfinished projects spanning back to when we last moved. Whole thing hand sewn because I still haven’t managed to get a craft room set up since making plans like three months ago, and I still have to press it and topstitch the whole thing and do some other finishing touches. 10/10 wouldn’t have it any other way lol.
Recently tried bookbinding (fanbinding 👀), this is my second bind, Extinction by @rubikanon. It's one of my partner's favorite fics, and I'd never read it before so I did my best to typeset without spoiling anything. Now my partner has been reading the fic to me from the book! I have to say, this is quickly becoming one of my favorites too 😁
(the covers are soft faux fur so it even feels nice when you hold it)
One problem with having ADHD and being into fiber crafts such as loom knitting is you end up with a lot of projects that you started but haven't finished.
Also you end up collecting a lot of yarn because you want ALL the colors.
Luckily I only have 2 looms. If I had more I'd be screwed.
I am so excited about this! It is for a white elephant style gift exchange at work - and I think it is so cute. A Dino nugget pen pouch!
Ofmd s2 trailer drop + full-on ADHD crafting mode ahhhhhhhhhh
