We Are Back (With New Projects!)

Sorry for the long radio silence my friends, the last few years have really put our polycule through the ringer (but many good things happened as well!)

The Big Updates

We are married, we are 110% out of the closet in our day to day lives, and we have a new project: follow us @polycraftory! All of our links can be found at polycraftory.com (including the podcast links). We have started a crafting/cosplay/book blog that follows all of the crafts that we do as a polycule as well as our other interests and projects. The biggest thing we've launched is our Polycraftory Etsy shop where we sell queer and nerdy merch (including polyamory stuff!) We are also debating starting a tiktok so stay tuned.

Now that we are completely out of the closet, we can use our real first names instead of the names we used on the podcast (though, I still also like our cute flower names so feel free to use either for Iris).

Iris is Meghan (she/they)

Sunflower / Sun is Nic (she/they)

Foxglove / Fox is Gabe (they/them)

Sage is Nathaniel (he/him)

Nic's been recovering from top surgery and listen...gotta have something to do while you're caretaking! Personally I've read six of the Monstrous books in ten days. Please help me.

We got this beautiful special edition collection of the first four books (plus a novella) from Renegade Romance and I am a known easy sell on monster fucking, so I was expecting to enjoy them. I was not expecting to enjoy them a "six books in ten days" amount. But here we are.

Anyway, this is a series about the human world being swarmed by monsters and falling into shambles, and about how monsters are not always the most monstrous things out there, and about the military industrial complex, and about gay sex. Not necessarily in that order, depending on the book. The monsters are new and spicy and weird, the writing is funny and personable, and I'm in love with the interwoven narratives. Each book follows a different couple (mostly from the human's POV), and I LOVE getting to see previous protagonists from outside perspectives. Especially when everyone around them thinks they're absolutely bonkers.

Incredibly highly recommended! I'm having a great time.

This week’s book haul has a bunch of craft books, because we do a normal and sane number of crafts in this household. Currently we’re picking up books about crocheting little guys as Gabe teaches the household yarn crafts! We stuck a couple of them in the picture for good measure. Plus, we got:

My Dear Agent, Volume 1, a bodyguard/bodyguard romance manga Nic has already read and loved

The Library at Hellebore by Gabe’s beloved Cassandra Khaw, who owns a good percentage of our horror shelf by themself

and Star Crossed, Volume 2 by @crimson-chains, an absolutely delightful prince/bodyguard BL fantasy comic that Meghan is dying to get caught up on

💛 One of Nic's top books of last year was Outdrawn by Deanna Grey: rivals-to-lovers webcomic artists falling in love when forced to work together again.
