Bro, social media is so weird. Like you make posts and blogs and people see them. Like depending on how popular you are people think about them a lot, they see them a lot. You have a presence in the online world. It's so weird. so so weird. like people (most of the time) aren't policing you for stating your thoughts like with your family and you can just keep going and talking about things for a long time. it's so... weird. You can be an entirely different subset of yourself here and no one would know. it's like taking on a persona. Like I can't explain how I feel about it it's just so odd.

I feel like ADHD people are inherently immune to mind reading

Like if someone tried to read my mind, they'd immediately get blasted with constant Kahoot lobby theme, about three lines on repeat from whatever song I'm obsessing over at the moment, two different character ideas bouncing off the corners of my mind like the DvD logo, the DvD logo itself, at least one anxiety-induced pre-planning of a conversation, and an episode of Lego Monkie Kid running side by side with an episode of RotTMNT.

And that's just surface level

Anyone else ever wonder if maybe the notion that you couldn’t be diagnosed with ADHD and autism at the same time along with the reluctance to diagnose autism ever led to autistic symptoms being written off as ADHD symptoms along with the reverse happening for autistics with comorbid ADHD.

How To ADHD:

1. Be forgetful.

2. Always have a song stuck in your head.

3. Always sing said song aloud in random places.

4. Make sure to lose things!

5. Get your words mixed up so you can create cool, new ones that no one will question.

6. Don’t forget to walk into the kitchen when your trying to go to the bathroom.

7. Zone out of boring, unimportant lectures about your future.

8. Walk into walls, doors, windows and fridges intentionally while thinking about lunch.

9. Forget about lunch.

10. It’s always important to do multiple things badly when your trying to finish your homework; you can definitely concentrate on your homework what your favourite tv show is playing.

11. Putting your shoes on the wrong feet is super cool and useful.

12. Forget everything you’ve just read.

My brain: Thanks momma. I try my best to be good at school, I’m sorry you don’t like Cs in the hardest courses when they’re SUPPOSED to be CHALLENGING but I guess you don’t see that. Also, aren’t people supposed to fail before they succeed?
