wait. *grabs nearest passerby* the ropalolyst fight. "the light leaves this one, and rejoins the rest." the old peace. adis. "my light goes with you now." we see the light transfer from adis to operator. the light isn't just a metaphor. new questions about sentient life and death. is the sentient afterlife also a collective. if so, what does it mean for adis to separate from that in death- *gets shoved away*
Our thoughts on beautiful little baby: Adis Truth-Bloom
Absolutely utterly painfully precious, the most instantly endearing character we've seen in this game yet.
We definitely thought he was a Sentient Mimic like Natah at first (hell we even thought he was a pre-transition Natah), but I think he's his own special Unit/Class of Sentient we haven't seen yet
Seeing a Sentient adorned in Orokin gold was LOADED. We were worried this was a timeline where "the war didn't happen actually lolz", but I think the general consensus is leaning towards this being our forgotten past. That is pretty relieving.
I do not think Adis is secretly any Sentient we knew before. Adis is his own character, and in a setting like The Old Peace, I really think he should stay this way. It keeps his story clean and focused on this era.
and GOD. this era... Sentients as part of Orokin society, as scholars and students and friends is so so so so SO good. THIS IS LITERALLY PERFECT. We are so excited.
We're not crossing out the possibility of Adis being related to Hunhow and Praghasa though. He pilots a Hunhullus after all and that's gotta mean something...
Also how fuckin genius and heartbreaking it is to have Adis be a parallel to the Operator?? "Transferencing" into a "Warframe" by taking control of a massive Sentient vessel... That's incredible. That's so lovely. We are instantly hooked.
Sentient song/Lullaby of the Manifold is an absolutely phenomenal piece of their worldbuilding... The weird little self-replicating AI creatures just love to sing...
Adis' power is to sing and heal. Natah's power is to sing and command... Can they meet and hug and chirp together as a happy family please 🥺💖💖
An innocent healer type Sentient character, a child soldier as much as the Tenno are, learning its place in Human Orokin society... is Gold. Conceptual GOLD. Adis is an example of the best character concepts DE have come up with and can come up with. He is perfect.
the Operator had a crush on Adis and you can't convince me otherwise.
