Adnan Khan, who received accolades for his role in Katha Ankahee is all set to take on a new character. He will soon be seen in historical saga Pracchand Ashok. The actor shared insights into his roles in a recent interview with ETimes TV. The actor talked about the efforts he is putting in to enhance his language and body language for more authentic portrayal.He discussed the research and preparations he has undertaken for his characters.On his character of King AshokaAshoka was an emperor who changed the history of India but it was not because of his wars or conquest but the changes he made in himself and the consequences it had later on. All these changes in his life were because of love.On his lookThe costume I’m wearing is magical and the moment I get into it, I understand the character. The team has done a wonderful and outstanding job in creating my look for the show.On preparations for the roleHonestly, I did not research much about the character. But language is one thing which I’m working on a lot and I am paying attention to it a lot. I am doing it because I’ve studied abroad and English was my first language. I just don’t consider it just as a challenge but I feel this is like a puzzle which will be interesting to solve. Isse Mujhe aadha character samajh mein aaraha hai. The dialect, the way he talks, the words that are used are very classy, graceful and beautiful. It is a wonderful experience to do it and apart from it there are few physical preparations that I’m doing. The production house and channel are brilliant and they are making Mallika and I do it. Like horse riding, sword swinging, so we are training for the physical side as well as working on the language as well.On audience's reaction on his roleI don’t worry about the audience's reaction or what they will think. The first thought that comes to my mind is how much Adnan is going to enjoy, learn and have fun while working. Agar Mujhe mazaa aayega, Sikhne ko milega, audience will also feel it.
